Overview
OneStrata's integrations with external ad servers enable a simplified ad trafficking workflow:
- Build and commit a media schedule in OneStrata. If an Ad Server provider is assigned to a Cost Line, when the Cost Line is committed it creates an Ad Placement line on the Ad Server grid.
- Link a OneStrata campaign to an external ad server campaign.
- Upload or link an Ad Placement in the Ad Server grid to an external ad server placement for trafficking, without having to re-enter details or switch platforms.
- View delivery metrics from the linked ad server placement within OneStrata.
Ad Server Providers
There are three available Ad Server providers:
- Amazon Ad Server (formerly Sizmek) → Amazon is sunsetting Amazon Ad Server in Q4 2024
- Campaign Manager 360 (CM360)
- Flashtalking
Service Types
Ad Server providers have two service types, ad serving and tracking:
Provider Type | Service Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Ad Server | Ad Serving | Ad Placements are uploaded to the ad server campaign with their actual Format and Format Dimension values. |
Tracking | Ad Placements are uploaded to the ad server campaign as a 1x1 pixel tracker, regardless of the listed Format and Format Dimension values. |
Ad Placement Types
An Ad Placement can be placed in different ways, depending on the selected Ad Server provider and service type:
Ad Server Provider | Service Type | Ad Placement Type |
---|---|---|
CM360 | Ad Serving |

CM360 | Tracking |
