Overview
Cost Lines on the Social grid can be linked to new or existing Meta campaigns, reducing the need to manually re-enter details across multiple platforms:

Link to a new Meta campaign | In OneStrata, upload a Cost Line to Meta to create a new Meta campaign. The Cost Line is automatically linked to the newly created Meta campaign. |
Link to an existing Meta campaign | In OneStrata, link a Cost Line to an existing Meta campaign. |
Linking a Cost Line to a Meta campaign creates a connection that allows delivery costs and metrics to flow from Meta to OneStrata. The delivery data is available on the Actualization tab.
Link a Cost Line to a New Meta Campaign
To create a new Meta campaign and link a Cost Line to the newly created campaign, do the following:
- Open the OneStrata campaign that contains the desired Cost Line. This Cost Line must have a Supplier entity that is linked to Meta.
- Go to the Social dashboard for Meta.
- If not logged in already, log in to Meta.
- In the Social grid, select the Cost Line. Only one Cost Line can be linked at a time.
- Click the Upload button to open the Upload widget.
- In the Upload widget:
Field Name Step(s) Select Campaign / Create Campaign Select the Create Campaign option. Advertiser Search for a Meta advertiser by entering at least three letters of the advertiser name.
Then, select the desired advertiser.
Name Choose one of the following options:
- Keep the automatically generated Meta campaign name. By default, the campaign name is the same as the OneStrata Cost Line name.
- Enter the desired Meta campaign name.
Budget
Choose one of the following options:
- Default to Cost Line: Use the Vendor Net Cost value of the Cost Line as the Meta campaign budget.
- Manual Input: Enter the Meta campaign budget.
Buying Type
Select the buying type of the Meta campaign. Objective
Select the objective of the Meta campaign. - Keep the automatically generated Meta campaign name. By default, the campaign name is the same as the OneStrata Cost Line name.
- Click the Create & Link button. Programmatic media buyers or traffickers can add more granular details to the newly created campaign within the Meta platform.
Link a Cost Line to an Existing Meta Campaign
To link a Cost Line to an existing Meta campaign, do the following:
- Open the OneStrata campaign that contains the desired Cost Line. This Cost Line must have a Supplier entity that is linked to Meta.
- Go to the Social dashboard for Meta.
- If not logged in already, log in to Meta.
- In the Social grid, select the Cost Line. Only one Cost Line can be linked at a time.
- Click the Upload button to open the Upload widget.
- In the Upload widget:
Field Name Step(s) Select Campaign / Create Campaign Select the Existing Campaign option. Advertiser Search for a Meta advertiser by entering at least three letters of the advertiser name.
Then, select the desired advertiser.
Name Search for a Meta campaign by entering at least three letters of the campaign name.
Then, select the desired campaign.
Read-only
Budget
The value of the Budget field is automatically populated from the selected Meta campaign and cannot be changed within OneStrata. Read-only
Objective
The value of the Objective field is automatically populated from the selected Meta campaign and cannot be changed within OneStrata. - Click the Link button.
