Overview

Cost Lines on the Social grid can be linked to new or existing Meta campaigns, reducing the need to manually re-enter details across multiple platforms:

Link to a new Meta campaign

In OneStrata, upload a Cost Line to Meta to create a new Meta campaign. The Cost Line is automatically linked to the newly created Meta campaign.

Link to an existing Meta campaign

In OneStrata, link a Cost Line to an existing Meta campaign.

Linking a Cost Line to a Meta campaign creates a connection that allows delivery costs and metrics to flow from Meta to OneStrata. The delivery data is available on the Actualization tab.


Link a Cost Line to a New Meta Campaign

To create a new Meta campaign and link a Cost Line to the newly created campaign, do the following:

  1. Open the OneStrata campaign that contains the desired Cost Line. This Cost Line must have a Supplier entity that is linked to Meta.

  2. Go to the Social dashboard for Meta.

  3. If not logged in already, log in to Meta.

  4. In the Social grid, select the Cost Line. Only one Cost Line can be linked at a time.

  5. Click the Upload button to open the Upload widget.

  6. In the Upload widget:
    Field NameStep(s)
    Select Campaign / Create CampaignSelect the Create Campaign option.
    Advertiser

    Search for a Meta advertiser by entering at least three letters of the advertiser name.

    Then, select the desired advertiser.

    Name

    Choose one of the following options:

    • Keep the automatically generated Meta campaign name. By default, the campaign name is the same as the OneStrata Cost Line name.

    • Enter the desired Meta campaign name.

    Budget

    Choose one of the following options:

    • Default to Cost Line: Use the Vendor Net Cost value of the Cost Line as the Meta campaign budget.

    • Manual Input: Enter the Meta campaign budget.

    Buying Type

    Select the buying type of the Meta campaign.

    Objective

    Select the objective of the Meta campaign.


  7. Click the Create & Link button. Programmatic media buyers or traffickers can add more granular details to the newly created campaign within the Meta platform.

Link a Cost Line to an Existing Meta Campaign

To link a Cost Line to an existing Meta campaign, do the following:

  1. Open the OneStrata campaign that contains the desired Cost Line. This Cost Line must have a Supplier entity that is linked to Meta.

  2. Go to the Social dashboard for Meta.

  3. If not logged in already, log in to Meta.

  4. In the Social grid, select the Cost Line. Only one Cost Line can be linked at a time.

  5. Click the Upload button to open the Upload widget.

  6. In the Upload widget:
    Field NameStep(s)
    Select Campaign / Create CampaignSelect the Existing Campaign option.
    Advertiser

    Search for a Meta advertiser by entering at least three letters of the advertiser name.

    Then, select the desired advertiser.

    Name

    Search for a Meta campaign by entering at least three letters of the campaign name.

    Then, select the desired campaign.

    Read-only

    Budget

    The value of the Budget field is automatically populated from the selected Meta campaign and cannot be changed within OneStrata.

    Read-only

    Objective

    The value of the Objective field is automatically populated from the selected Meta campaign and cannot be changed within OneStrata.


  7. Click the Link button.
