New DSP Integration with Google Display & Video 360

What is it? OneStrata enterprises can add an integration to Display & Video 360 (DV360), Google's demand-side platform (DSP) for programmatic media buying.

Enterprises integrated with DV360 can do the following:

  • Create a DV360 campaign while in OneStrata
  • Link a OneStrata campaign to a DV360 campaign
  • Create a DV360 insertion order while in OneStrata
  • Link a OneStrata Cost Line to a DV360 insertion order

For more information, see the following articles:

Where is it? This new feature affects the External Integrations tab.

Do I need to do anything? External integrations are managed by FreeWheel. To set up or manage an integration with DV360, contact your OneStrata representative.

Automatically Assign New Users Full Data Access

What is it? There are two new, FreeWheel-managed settings that can automatically assign full data access to new users.

The two types of data access—media access and entity access—determine which campaigns a user can view or edit. If you do not have access to a particular Media type or entity, you cannot view or edit campaigns associated with that Media type or entity.

  • Previously, every new user's media and entity access levels had to be manually assigned.
  • Now, full media access and full entity access can be automatically assigned.
    • If the Apply All Medias to New Users setting is enabled, all new users are automatically assigned access to all Media types. If this setting is not enabled, new users must have their media access level manually assigned.
    • If the Apply All Entity Access to New Users setting is enabled, all new users are automatically assigned access to all entities. If this setting is not enabled, new users must have their entity access level manually assigned.

Where is it? These new settings affect the Administration > User Management > Users > (Specific User) > Data Access tab.

How am I affected? The data access levels of existing users are not affected; when enabled, these new settings only apply to new users.

Do I need to do anything? No — the appropriate data access settings for your OneStrata enterprise are automatically applied for you. To change or manage these settings, contact your OneStrata representative.

Create Multiple Users With a Template

What is it? New OneStrata users can be created in bulk, by using the new user template.

  • Previously, every new user had to be manually created.
  • Now, you can use a template to create multiple users at once.

For more information, see Create a User With a Template.

Where is it? This change affects the Administration > User Management > Users tab.

Do I need to do anything? No — this new feature is automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.

Query Additional Adazzle Analytics Tables

What is it? Adazzle Analytics has new tables that can be queried:

  • Advertiser
  • Be Client
  • Be Product
  • Be Publication
  • Booking Category
  • Campaign Custom Fields (only available if the Adazzle account has custom campaign fields)
  • Insertion Booking Category
  • Insertion Data Actuals
  • Media Brand

Where is it? These new tables are available on the Adazzle Analytics tab, part of the Reports module.

Do I need to do anything? No — these new tables are automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises that have enabled Adazzle Analytics.

Changed

Allocated Workflow is Gated

What is it? The allocated workflow is now gated, and only available for OneStrata enterprises that have enabled this workflow.

  • If the allocated workflow is enabled, you can create and assign media buys and fees based on allocated amounts.
    • You can create an allocated media buy by setting its Cost Method value to Allocated, on the Schedule grid.
    • You can create an allocated fee by creating a Fee record and setting its Cost Type value to Allocated Amount. You can also assign allocated fees to media buys.
  • If the allocated workflow is not enabled, the Allocated cost method/cost type option is not available, and you cannot create new allocated media buys or fees.

For more information, see Allocated Cost Method.

Where is it? This change affects one or more of the following areas:

  • Allocated amount-related fields on the Schedule grid, located on the Schedule tab
  • Fee records, which are managed on the Administration > Reference Data > Fees & Tech Rate tab

How am I affected? If there are any existing allocated media buys or allocated fees when the allocated workflow is disabled, these media buys and fees are not affected. However, you cannot create new allocated media buys, create new allocated fees, or assign existing allocated fees to new media buys unless the allocated workflow is re-enabled.

Do I need to do anything? By default the allocated workflow is not enabled. To enable this workflow, contact your OneStrata representative.

Default User Roles for New OneStrata Enterprises

What is it? All new OneStrata enterprises (created after June 5, 2024) have eight default user roles:

  • All Permissions: Full permissions for all areas.
  • Standard User: Full permissions for the core campaign management workflow. View-only permissions for all other areas.
  • Trainer: Full permissions for almost all areas. No access to vendor contact information.
  • View Only: View-only permissions for all areas.
  • Buyer: Full permissions for the Campaigns module. View-only permissions for all other areas.
  • Traffic Only: Full permissions for the External Integrations tab. View-only permissions for all other areas.
  • Finance Only: Full permissions for finance-related areas. View-only permissions for all other areas.
  • Agency Administrator: Full permissions for the Finance, Reports, and Administration modules. View-only permissions for all other areas.

The default user roles are pre-defined by OneStrata, and provide a quick way to assign the appropriate set of permissions to users. Previously, all user roles had to be manually defined.

Depending on whether user role customization is enabled or not enabled, the default user roles can or cannot be edited. For more information on which permissions are assigned to which default user roles, see System Default User Role Reference.

Where is it? This change affects the following areas:

  • The Administration > User Management > Users tab
  • The Administration > User Management > Users > (Specific User) > Role tab
  • The Administration > User Management > User Roles tab

How am I affected? Existing OneStrata enterprises are not affected; default user roles are only available for newly created enterprises.

Do I need to do anything? No — default user roles are automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises created after June 5, 2024.

Updated Schedule Grid and Billing Periods Grid Column Pickers

What is it? The Schedule grid and Billing Periods grid column pickers have been updated, and now include two sections:

  • Visible Columns: A list of the fields that are displayed, from top to bottom, as columns in the Schedule grid or Billing Periods grid, from left to right
    • The fields that are automatically listed in the Visible Columns section are "default" fields, as defined on the Media Schedule template, in campaign settings, or pre-defined by OneStrata
    • The fields in the Visible Columns section can be added, removed, and reordered as desired
  • Available Columns: A list of the fields that can be added to the Visible Columns section
    • Any column defined in the Media Schedule template as a Hidden data field is not listed in the Available Columns section, and therefore cannot be displayed in the Schedule or Billing Periods grid

Previously, the Schedule grid and Billing Periods grid column pickers displayed all possible fields in a single section, and column reordering was done directly in the grid.

Where is it? This change affects the following areas:

  • The Schedule grid column picker, located on the Schedule tab
  • The Billing Periods grid column picker, located on the Unit Calendar widget, within the Schedule grid

Do I need to do anything? No — the updated Schedule grid and Billing Periods grid column pickers are automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.

Updated System Default Templates

What is it? The following system default templates have been updated, with some columns removed, some columns added, and some columns re-ordered:

  • System default Media Schedule template: Defines the default columns and column order of the Schedule grid, located on the Schedule tab
  • System default Order Details template: Defines the default columns and column order of the Order Details grid, located on the Orders tab
  • System default Advertiser View template: Defines the default columns and column order of various items on the Advertiser View page, located on the Schedule tab

The system default templates are pre-defined by OneStrata and are automatically available for all enterprises. For more information on the system default templates and their fields, see System Default Template Reference.

Where is it? This change affects the Media Schedule, Order Detail, and Advertiser View templates, which are managed on the Administration > Data Fields and Templates page.

How am I affected? Any existing custom templates are not affected and are applied as normal.

Do I need to do anything? No — these updated system default templates are automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.

User Role Customization is Gated

What is it? The user role customization feature is now gated, and only available for OneStrata enterprises that have enabled this feature. User roles define what permissions a user has, and every user within a OneStrata enterprise must be assigned a user role.

  • If user role customization is enabled, you can create new user roles and edit or assign existing user roles.
  • If user role customization is not enabled, you cannot create new user roles or edit existing user roles. However, you can assign any existing user roles.

Where is it? This change affects the following areas:

  • The Administration > User Management > Users > (Specific User) > Role tab
  • The Administration > User Management > User Roles tab

How am I affected? The user role customization feature interacts with default user roles, which were also introduced in OneStrata version 24.5.22 and released on June 5, 2024.

For OneStrata enterprises created after June 5, 2024:

  • If user role customization is enabled, you can edit and assign the default user roles. You can also create, edit, and assign new user roles.
  • If user role customization is not enabled, you can assign the default user roles, but not edit them. You cannot create, edit, or assign new user roles.

Do I need to do anything? By default, the user role customization feature is not enabled. To enable this feature, contact your OneStrata representative.
