Schedule Tab UI Elements

The Schedule tab displays information about a campaign's media and non-media buys.

The Schedule tab contains the following elements:

1Campaign Header

The campaign header contains the name and ID of a campaign, information about campaign status, and access to campaign management tabs and settings.

Schedule Option List

A list of the campaign's schedule options, if multiple options exist. Also displays the status of the selected schedule option:

  • Draft
  • Active
  • Archived

Click to select which schedule option is displayed in the Schedule Grid.

Grouping Options

Click to select how Schedule Grid lines are grouped:

  • No Grouping (Default): Schedule Grid lines are not grouped and are displayed in a flat view
  • Group by Order ID: Schedule Grid lines are grouped by Order ID (the unique, OneStrata identification number of an Order).

Filters icon

Click the Filters icon to open the filter pane and filter through the selected schedule option's Schedule grid lines.

Columns icon

Click the Columns icon to open the Schedule grid column picker and customize the columns displayed within the Schedule grid.

Schedule Summary icon

Click the Schedule Summary icon to view any required approvals and spend information.

  • Approvals: The status of any required Approvals
  • Budget and Cost: A summary of planned spend and committed spend, in Client Currency:
    • Planned: The sum of all schedule lines with a status of Committed or Draft
    • Committed: The sum of schedule lines with a status of Committed
    • Remaining: The difference between the campaign budget and the Planned or Committed sums

Undo / Redo buttons

Click to undo or redo any changes to the Schedule grid that have not been saved yet.

Search & Scroll bar

Select the name of a column in the Schedule grid, and the Schedule grid will automatically scroll to and highlight the column.

Advertiser View button

Click to access the Advertiser View version of the schedule. The Advertiser View page is a read-only, customizable view of the schedule that can be downloaded.

10Import / Export button

This button is only available if the Import/Export Allowed setting has been enabled.

To view this setting, go to:

  • Administration > Application Settings > Media Schedule > (Specific Application Setting record) > Import/Export Allowed
Click to import or export the schedule, using the OneStrata Excel template.

Save Changes button

Click the Save Changes button to save any changes made to the Schedule grid.

Applied Filters bar

Displays any filters that have been applied to the Schedule grid.

By default, the (Schedule Grid Line) Status filter is applied, and canceled lines—Schedule Grid lines with the Cancelled status—are filtered out and not included on the Schedule Grid.

Schedule grid

A list of the selected schedule option's media and non-media buys. By default, Cancelled Schedule Grid lines are filtered out.

Add Row icon

Click the Add Row icon to add a new Schedule grid line:

Discard Draft button

 

If no Draft - X Schedule grid lines are selected, the Discard Draft button is inactive.


If one or more Draft - X Schedule grid lines are selected, the Discard Draft button is active.

Click the Discard Draft button to discard changes to the selected Schedule Grid line(s):

  • If Status is Draft - New, click to remove the line from the Schedule Grid.

  • If Status is Draft - Revised, click to remove any uncommitted changes from the line.

  • If Status is Draft - Cancelled, click to revert the line's status to Committed and remove its pending cancellation flag.

Cancel button

If no Committed Schedule grid lines are selected, the Cancel button is inactive.


If one or more Committed Schedule grid lines are selected, the Cancel button is active.

Click the Cancel button to flag the selected line(s) for cancellation, by changing the line's status from Committed to Draft - Cancelled.

Duplicate button

Click the Duplicate button to duplicate the selected Schedule grid line(s).

Duplicated lines are created at the top of the Schedule Grid, and have the status Draft - New.

Remove Approval button

This button is only available if agency schedule approvals are enabled.

To view this setting, go to:

  • Administration > Application Settings > Approvals > (Specific Approval Setting record) > Agency Schedule Approval

If the selected Schedule grid line has not been approved yet, the Remove Approval button is inactive.


If the selected Schedule grid line has already been approved, the Remove Approval button is active.

Click the Remove Approval button to remove agency approval from a previously approved line.

Approve button

This button is only available if agency schedule approvals are enabled.

To view this setting, go to:

  • Administration > Application Settings > Approvals > (Specific Approval Setting record) > Agency Schedule Approval

If the selected Schedule grid line already been approved, the Approve button is inactive.


If the selected Schedule grid line has not been approved yet, the Approve button is active.

Click the Approve button to begin the approval process.

Commit button

If no Schedule grid lines are selected, the Commit button is inactive.


If one or more Schedule grid lines are selected, the Commit button is active.


Schedule Grid Reference

The table below describes the default Schedule grid columns.

If a OneStrata enterprise has created their own custom Media Schedule template, the Schedule grid may contain fewer or more columns, in a different order. For more information, see System Default Media Schedule Template.

 The Schedule grid displays the selected schedule option's media and non-media buys. By default, canceled Schedule Grid lines are filtered out.

GeneratedStatus

The status of the Schedule Grid line:

  • Draft - NewThe line is not committed.

  • CommittedThe line is committed.

  • Draft - Revised: The line was previously committed, but now has new, uncommitted changes.

  • Draft - Cancelled: The line was previously committed and is now pending cancellation. The line will be fully cancelled once it is committed again.

  • Cancelled: The line was previously committed, was flagged for cancellation, and was committed again to complete its cancellation.
GeneratedIDThe OneStrata-generated identification number of the Schedule grid line.
SelectedStart Date

The start date of the Schedule grid line.

By default, the Start Date value of a newly created Schedule grid line is the start date of the campaign.

SelectedEnd Date

The end date of the Schedule grid line.

By default, the End Date value of a newly created Schedule grid line is the start date of the campaign.

SelectedSupplierThe Supplier entity assigned to the Schedule grid line.
SelectedEstimate IDThe OneStrata-generated identification number of the estimate associated with the Schedule grid line.

The dimensions of the Schedule grid line.

  • If Format is a display type like Square or Banner, the Format Dimension value is in pixel dimensions

SelectedCost CategoryThe Cost Category assigned to the Schedule grid line.
SelectedRate Type

The rate type of the Schedule grid line.

TriangulatedVendor Net Rate (VC)

The cost per unit that the vendor charges, after any discounts are applied but before any taxes are added.

TriangulatedUnitsThe number of units being purchased.
TriangulatedVendor Net Cost (VC)

The amount that the vendor charges for the media purchase(s), after any discounts are applied but before any taxes are added.

SelectedUnit Calendar

A visual representation of how many units are scheduled to run per Flight Period, grouped by calendar month.

SelectedFee Assignments

Any fee(s) assigned to the Schedule grid line.

SelectedTechnology Assignments

Any Ad Server provider(s) assigned to the Schedule grid line.

CalculatedTotal Fee Cost (CC)The total cost of the fee(s) assigned to the Schedule grid line.

Client Commission Rule

The Commission record applied to the Schedule grid line, if any.

Depending on Commission record settings, campaign settings, and Schedule grid line values, a default Commission record may be automatically applied.

CalculatedClient Commission Cost (CC)

The amount of commission that the client is charged.

TriangulatedClient Total Rate (CC)

The cost per unit that the client is charged, after any discounts are applied and commission is added, but before any taxes are added.

Triangulated

Client Total Cost (CC)

The amount that the client is charged, after any discounts are applied and commission is added, but before any taxes are added.


Unit Calendar Widget UI Elements

The Unit Calendar widget displays information about the flight periods (if any) and billing periods of a specific Schedule grid line.

The Unit Calendar widget contains the following elements:

Schedule Grid Line Name

The name of the Schedule grid line.

Only available if the Schedule grid line is a standalone / secondary Placement or Media Package.

A list of the Schedule grid line's billing periods.

Cancel button

Click to close the Unit Calendar widget without saving any changes.

Save button

Click to close the Unit Calendar widget and save any changes made to the Flight Periods grid.

Unit Calendar Widget Reference

If the Schedule grid line is a standalone / secondary Placement or Media Package:

  • The Unit Calendar widget displays the Flight Periods grid and the Billing Periods grid.

If the Schedule grid line is a Cost Package or Fee:

  • The Unit Calendar widget displays the Billing Periods grid only.

Flight Periods Grid Reference

The Flight Periods grid contains the following columns:

Column NameDescription
Start DateThe start date of the flight period.
End DateThe end date of the flight period.

Units

The number of units purchased for the flight period.

Units = Vendor Net Cost / Vendor Net Rate

Rate

Depending on the primary cost type:

Billing Periods Grid Reference

By default, the Billing Periods grid contains the following columns:

Start DateThe start date of the billing period.
End DateThe end date of the billing period.

Units

The number of units purchased during the billing period.

Units = Vendor Net Cost / Vendor Net Rate

Rate

Depending on the primary cost type:

Primary cost type is an enterprise-level setting that is managed on the Administration > Cost Model Settings page.

Cost

Depending on the primary cost type:

Primary cost type is an enterprise-level setting that is managed on the Administration > Cost Model Settings page.

Actualization Status

The actualization status of the billing period:

  • Not Actualized: The billing period has not been actualized yet
  • Actualized: The billing period has been actualized
External ID

The identification number used by an external finance system to refer to the billing period, if one exists.

Invoice Status

The invoice status of the billing period:

  • Not Invoiced: The finance system does not have an invoice record reconciled against the billing period
  • Matched: The finance system has an invoice matched against the billing period
  • Cleared: The finance system has cleared an invoice for payment against the billing period

Invoiced Amount 

The sum of all invoices that have been matched or cleared against the billing period.

Cleared Invoiced Amount 

The sum of all invoices that have been cleared against the billing period.

Additional cost-related fields can be added to the Billing Periods grid by doing the following:

  • Click the Columns icon  to open the Billing Periods grid column picker.
  • Select the desired columns.
