Start the Template Creation Process

To start the template creation process, do the following:

  1. Go to the Administration > Data Fields and Templates page.

  2. Expand the schema table as necessary in order to reach the entity that the template will be created for.

  3. For the desired entity row, click the value in the Schema column to open its Manage Data Fields and Templates page.

  4. On the Manage Data Fields and Templates page, go to the Templates tab.

  5. Click the Create Template button.

Create an Advertiser View Template

Advertiser View templates define the information included on the following items:

  • The Advertiser View page, located on the Schedule tab.
  • The downloaded Advertiser View page, which is exported as an Excel file.

To create a Advertiser View template, do the following:

  1. Start the template creation process.

  2. On the template creation page:
    Template Name

    Enter a name for the template.

    Template TypeSelect Advertiser View.

    Optional

    Include Logo

    Optional: Select this checkbox to include the advertising agency's logo on the Advertiser View page. 

    Optional

    Include Terms and Conditions

    Optional: Select this checkbox to include a link to a Terms and Condition document on the Advertiser View page.
    Campaign Details

    Select the fields and field order of the Campaign Details section of the Advertiser View page.

    Order Details

    Select the columns and column order of the Order Details grid in the Schedule section of the Advertiser View page.

    Billing Summary

    Select the rows and row order of the Billing Summary section of the Advertiser View page.

  3. Click the Save and Finish button.

Create an External Integration Template

External Integration templates define the columns and column order of the Ad Server grid, located on the Ad Server Provider dashboard.

To create an External Integration template, do the following:

  1. Start the template creation process.

  2. On the template creation page:
    Template Name

    Enter a name for the template.

    Template TypeSelect External Integrations.

    Data Fields

    Select the columns and column order of the Ad Server grid.


  3. Click the Save and Finish button.

Create a Schedule Template

Schedule templates define the fields in the Schedule grid, located on the Schedule tab.

To create a Schedule template, do the following:

  1. Start the template creation process.

  2. On the template creation page:
    Template Name

    Enter a name for the template.

    Template TypeSelect Media Schedule.
    Default Data Fields

    Select the default columns and column order of the Schedule grid.

    Default fields can be manually removed from or re-added to the Schedule grid via the column picker.

    Optional

    Hidden Data Fields

    Optional: Select fields to "hide" from the schedule. Hidden fields cannot be added to the Schedule grid.


  3. Click the Save and Finish button.

Create an Order Details Template

Order Details templates define the fields in the Order Details grid, located on the Orders tab.

To create an Order Details template, do the following:

  1. Start the template creation process.

  2. On the template creation page:
    Template Name

    Enter a name for the template.

    Template TypeSelect Order Details.

    Optional

    Make as Default Template

    Optional: Select this checkbox to make the current template the default Order Details template. The default Order Details template is automatically applied to the Order Details page.

    If the current template is the only Order Details template for the given entity, this checkbox is automatically selected and cannot be unselected.

    Optional

    Include Logo

    Optional: Select this checkbox to include the advertising agency's logo in the PDF export of the Order Details page. 

    Optional

    Display Media Campaign External ID

    Optional: Select this checkbox to include the media campaign's External ID (EID) in the overview section of the Order Details page.

    Optional

    Display Campaign Group External ID

    Optional: Select this checkbox to include the campaign group's External ID (EID), if any, in the overview section of the Order Details page.

    Optional

    Display Estimate External ID(s)

    Optional: Select this checkbox to include the Estimate External ID (EEID) generated from SBMS or a third party finance system.

    Unit Calendar Display

    Select which values are displayed in the Unit Calendar bars:

    • Costs and Units (Default): Display cost and units (when applicable) per month, by flight period and/or billing period.
    • Cost: Display cost per month, by flight period and/or billing period.
    • Units: Display units (when applicable) per month, by flight period and/or billing period.

    Costs are displayed in the primary cost type (Vendor Net Cost or Vendor Gross Cost), an enterprise-level setting that is managed on the Administration > Cost Model Settings page.

    Units are only displayed for Placement and Media Package lines, which are the only types of Cost Lines with flight periods and unit information.

    Order Details

    Select the default columns and column order.

    This column order is displayed in the following areas:

    • The Order Details grid that is located on the Order Details page.
    • The Order Details grid that is included with the PDF or Excel export of the Order Details page.
    • The Vendor Order Details grid that is located on the Vendor Order Details page, in Vendor Inbox.

      The Vendor Order Details grid that is included with the PDF or Excel export of the Vendor Order Details page.



  3. Click the Save and Finish button.
