Display Estimate External ID (EEID) in Media Campaign Creation when Linking to Existing Estimate

What is it? When creating a campaign, if linking the campaign to an existing estimate, the external ID of the estimate (if any) is also displayed in the dropdown menu.

  • Previously, in the existing estimate dropdown list, only the name and ID of the estimates were displayed.
  • Now, if the estimate has an external ID, its EEID (Estimate External ID) is displayed, in the following format: Estimate Name (ID: XXXX | EEID: YYYY).

An estimate has an external ID if:

  • The Export Estimate feature is enabled (the enterprise is connected to an external financial system); or
  • The Export Estimate feature is not enabled (the enterprise is not connected to an external financial system) but an external ID was manually entered for the estimate.

Where is it? This feature affects the Create Media Campaigns workflow of the Media Campaigns page, located on the Campaigns tab.

Do I need to do anything? No - this change is automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.

External Integrations

Enter the Name of a Landing Page During CM360 Campaign Creation

What is it? When linking a OneStrata campaign to a new Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) campaign, users can now directly enter the desired name of the CM360 campaign landing page. Previously, only the CM360 campaign landing page URL could be entered, and the landing page name defaulted to the landing page URL.

The maximum character length of the landing page name is 255 characters. The new maximum character length of the landing page URL is 1024 characters.

Where is it? This new feature affects the Ad Server grid, located on the External Integrations tab.

Do I need to do anything? No — this new feature is automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.

General Updates to Master Data and Reference Data Records

What is it? Some of the backend logic for master data and reference data records was updated:

Code-Related Constraints Removed from Certain Records

What is it? Constraints related to the Code or Finance Code fields for certain master data records and Media Type records were removed. These code values are typically used for billing or reporting purposes.

This change applies to the following types of records:

  • Master data records in the Agency Group hierarchy
    • Agency records
    • Business Unit records
    • Client Group records
    • Client records
    • Product Group records
    • Product records
  • Media Type records

Previously, these records had the following code-related constraints:

  • Once the record was created, the Code or Finance Code value of the record could not be changed.
  • For Agency, Business Unit, and Client Group records, two records of the same type could not have the same Code value.

Now, these constraints have been removed:

    • The Code or Finance Code values of these records can be changed after record creation.
    • Two Agency, Business Unit, or Client Group records can have the same Code value.
      • Note: Client, Product Group, and Product records were already able to have the same Code value.
      • Note: Two Media Type records cannot have the same Finance Code value; this constraint has not changed.

Where is it? This change affects the following records:

  • Master data records, which are managed on the Administration > Entity Management page.
  • Media Type records, which are managed on the Administration > Reference Data page.

How am I affected? If the master data source of the enterprise is internal, the Code or Finance Code values of these records can be manually changed in OneStrata as desired.

If the master data source of the enterprise is external, make the change in the external system. These changes are pushed to OneStrata.

Do I need to do anything? No — these changes are automatically applied to all OneStrata enterprises.

New Medias in SBMS Are Automatically Added to Cost Categories

What is it? For enterprises that use SBMS as an external master data sourcecreating a new Media in SBMS now also updates the cost categories in OneStrata.

  • Previously, creating a new Media in SBMS only triggered the creation of a new Media Type record in OneStrata.
  • Now, the newly created Media Type record is also automatically added to existing Cost Category records.

Where is it? This change affects Media Type and Cost Category records, which are managed on the Administration > Reference Data page.

How am I affected? This change only affects enterprises that use SBMS as an external master data source. All other enterprises are not affected.

Do I need to do anything? No — this change is automatically applied to the appropriate OneStrata enterprises.
