Overview

OneStrata's third party integrations simplify the digital buying process by providing a single place to enter media schedule information and receive delivery metrics. When a schedule line is committed, OneStrata automatically creates Ad Placement lines that can be uploaded directly to a campaign on an external ad server, without having to re-enter any placement details.

Direct integrations with external providers connect OneStrata to the rest of an agency's ad tech stack, help eliminate data duplication, and reduce the burden of maintaining data integrity across multiple systems.

External Integrations Terms and Concepts

Provider Types

External integration providers are managed by FreeWheel. To set up or manage an external integration provider, contact your OneStrata representative.

OneStrata has two types of external integration providers, Ad Server and DSP.

Provider TypeDescriptionAvailable Providers
Ad Server

When a user is logged in to an Ad Server provider, the following actions are possible within OneStrata:

  • Amazon Ad Server (formerly Sizmek)
  • Campaign Manager 360 (CM360)
  • Flashtalking
DSP (Demand-Side Platform)

When a user is logged in to a DSP provider, the following actions are possible within OneStrata:

  • Link a OneStrata campaign to a new or existing DSP campaign
  • Display & Video 360 (DV360)

Login Types

Login credentials are managed by FreeWheel. To set up or manage login credentials, contact your OneStrata representative.

Depending on how their OneStrata enterprise has been configured, a user may have access to a single set or to multiple sets of login credentials. If multiple sets of login credentials are available for the same provider, the user can choose which set to use.

When logging in to an external integration provider, there are two types of login credentials—individual logins and central logins—that a user might have access to.

Login TypeDescription
Individual

The user manually enters their own login information (a valid combination of username and password).

Previously, all login credentials were individual. When using a set of individual log in credentials, you must manually enter a username and password in order to connect to the provider.

This defines if this External Integration will require the user to log in with their own credentials when selecting it to Login (Individual) or if we'll use information stored in this page to connect (Central).

Central

The user does not need to enter any login information, because a valid combination of username and password is stored centrally for them.
