Provider

The third-party provider of a technology service.


OneStrata has one Provider Type:

  • Ad Server: Providers that serve ad units (Placements)

OneStrata has integrations with the following Ad Server Providers:

  • Amazon Ad Server (formerly Sizmek)
  • Campaign Manager 360
  • Flashtalking

Service Type

The advertising-related service that a Provider supplies.


Ad Server Providers have two Service Types:

  • Ad Serving: Ad Placements are uploaded with their actual Format and Format Dimension values.
  • Tracking: Ad Placements are uploaded as a 1x1 pixel tracker, regardless of the Format and Format Dimension values.

Supplier

Each Provider is mapped to one or more OneStrata Suppliers.

The External Integrations tab displays a list of a campaign's Ad Placements, by Provider.

Connection status icon

The status of the connection to the external integration Provider:

  • Not Connected: The user is not logged in to the Provider
  • Connected: The user is logged in to the Provider

Provider List

A list of Providers that have been assigned to at least one committed schedule Placement's Technology Assignment.

Click to:

  • See all Providers associated with the campaign
  • Select another Provider to view Ad Placements by

Filters icon

Click to open the filter pane and filter through the list of Ad Placements.

Search bar

Search for an Ad Placement by name, Ad Placement ID, or External ID (EID).

Log In / Log Out button

If the user is not logged in to the external integration Provider, this button is the Log In button. Click to log in to the Provider.

If the user is logged in to the external integration Provider, this button is the Log Out button. Click to log out from the Provider.

Supplier Mapping button

Click to map an Agency Supplier to an external ad server supplier:

  • If the user is not logged in to the external integration Provider, the Supplier Mapping button is inactive.
  • If the user is logged in to the external integration Provider, the Supplier Mapping button is active.

If the Traffic Grid is not linked to an external ad server campaign, this button is the Link Campaign button:



If the Traffic Grid is linked to an external ad server campaign, this button is the View Campaign button:

  • Click to view details about the linked external ad server campaign.
  • Click to unlink the external ad server campaign. Unlinking an external ad server campaign is only possible if no Ad Placements have been uploaded to the external ad server campaign.

Save Changes button

Inactive

Active


If there are no new changes to the Traffic Grid, the Save Changes button is inactive.

If there are new changes to the Traffic Grid, the Save Changes button is active. Click to save any changes made to the Traffic Grid.

A list of Ad Placements, by external integration Provider.

11Cancel button

Select an Ad Placement and click the Cancel button to cancel the Ad Placement.

12Unlink button

Select an Ad Placement that has been uploaded to an external ad server campaign and click the Unlink button to unlink the Ad Placement from the external ad server campaign.

The Ad Placement status changes from Uploaded to Not Uploaded.

13Duplicate button

Select an Ad Placement and click the Duplicate button to duplicate the Ad Placement.

14Upload button

Select an Ad Placement and click the Upload button to upload the Ad Placement to an external ad server.

Item Type

The type of the Traffic Grid item:

  • Package
  • Ad Placement

Status (Ad Placement Status)

The status of the Ad Placement:

  • Not Uploaded: The Ad Placement has not been uploaded to an external ad server campaign

  • Uploaded: The Ad Placement is uploaded to an external ad server campaign

  • Edited: The Ad Placement is uploaded to an external ad server campaign, but has since been edited. Re-upload the Ad Placement to update the external ad server campaign.

  • Upload Failed: The Ad Placement failed to upload to an external ad server campaign. Hover over the status to see an error message.

  • Canceled: The Ad Placement was cancelled in OneStrata, but has not been cancelled in the external ad server yet. Re-upload the Ad Placement to cancel the Ad Placement in the external ad server.

  • Archived: The Ad Placement is cancelled in OneStrata and cancelled in the external ad server.
Cost Line IDThe unique, OneStrata identification number of the schedule Placement (a cost line) that generated the Ad Placement.
Name / ID (Ad Placement Name / Ad Placement ID)

Name (Ad Placement Name): The name of the Ad Placement. Ad Placement Name is automatically generated by OneStrata, according to Agency- or Enterprise-level configurations.

ID (Ad Placement ID): The OneStrata identification number of the Ad Placement.

EID (External ID): The identification number used by the Provider for the Ad Placement.

Supplier

The Supplier of the Ad Placement.


A read-only value that is automatically populated from the media schedule.

Start Date

The start date of the Ad Placement.


A read-only value that is automatically populated from the media schedule.

End Date


The end date of the Ad Placement.


A read-only value that is automatically populated from the media schedule.

Rate Type


The Rate Type of the Ad Placement.


A read-only value that is automatically populated from the media schedule.

Format


The format of the Ad Placement.


A read-only value that is automatically populated from the media schedule.

Format Dimension


The dimensions of the Ad Placement:

  • If Format is a Display type like Square or Banner, the Format Dimension value is in pixel dimensions
  • If Format is a Video type like Preroll or Midroll, the Format Dimension value is in seconds

A read-only value that is automatically populated from the media schedule.

Placement Type

How the Ad Placement is placed.


A value that automatically populates from the media schedule (based on the Service Type of the Technology Assignment value), but can be manually changed.
