Link a Cost Line to a Google Ads Campaign

In order to link a Cost Line to a Google Ads campaign, the Supplier of the Cost Line must be linked to Google Ads. For more information, see Supplier Linking and Mapping.

Follow the steps in Link a Cost Line to a New External Entity.

In the Upload widget, enter the following additional information:

Name

Choose one of the following options:

  • Keep the automatically generated Google Ads campaign name. By default, the campaign name is the same as the OneStrata Cost Line name.

  • Enter the desired Google Ads campaign name.
Start DateSelect a start date for the Google Ads campaign.

Optional

End Date

Optional: Select an end date for the Google Ads campaign.
Daily Budget

Choose one of the following options:

  • Default to Cost Line: Use the calculated daily budget of the Cost Line as the Google Ads campaign daily budget.

    "Calculated daily budget" is the budget of the Cost Line divided by the number of days in that Cost Line (the number of days from the Cost Line's start date to its end date, inclusive).

  • Manual Input: Enter the Google Ads campaign daily budget.
Campaign Type

Select a type for the Google Ads campaign:

  • Search
  • Display
  • Performance Max
  • Demand Gen

If a single Google Ads campaign is selected, the following information about the campaign is displayed in the Upload widget:

Date Range

The value of the Date Range field is automatically populated from the selected Google Ads campaign and cannot be changed within OneStrata.

If multiple campaigns are selected, no additional information is displayed.
