Overview

Clients who manage their first-party data through Neustar, now part of TransUnion TruAudience, can push segment data directly into Beeswax. Neustar is configured for first-party data for mutual customers. The process below describes the steps that should occur to successfully register new Neustar segments within Beeswax.

Note

If this is your first time pushing TransUnion segments to Beeswax, you must notify Beeswax Support PRIOR to conducting your first segment push to Beeswax. This will ensure that Beeswax’s backend system configurations are updated to allow for automatic ingestion of all segment pushes.

How it Works

The process below describes the steps that should occur to successfully register new Neustar segments within Beeswax.

Note

Beeswax recommends starting the process at least 5 business days prior to any campaign.

  1. Reach out to Beeswax Support to enable the account. Then, create a ticket and provide the following: buzzkey and account ID. To create a ticket, click the icon at the top right of the Beeswax UI.

  2. Once the ticket is created, configure the segments that should be delivered to Beeswax in the TransUnion TruAudience platform by using the above Buzzkey and account Id in the distribution tile

  3. Notify your Beeswax Account Manager that Beeswax should be expecting an update to your Neustar/TransUnion taxonomy.

  4. Taxonomy is received in s3 , which will be processed automatically and shared with the buzzkey/accountId in the file path that the data is received from..

  5. Once TransUnion begins to deliver the data (usually within a week of segment setup in TransUnion TruAudience platform), Beeswax will start processing those users into the Neustar portion of your Segment taxonomy in the Beeswax UI. You will see counts of the users in each segment under Trafficking > Segments.
