External Integration Terms and Concepts
This section contains information about terms and concepts related to external integrations in OneStrata.
List of External Integration Terms
The third-party provider of a technology service.

- Ad Server: Providers that serve ad units (Placements)
OneStrata has integrations with the following Ad Server Providers:
- Amazon Ad Server (formerly Sizmek)
- Campaign Manager 360
- Flashtalking
Service Type
The advertising-related service that a Provider supplies.
Ad Server Providers have two Service Types:
- Ad Serving: Ad Placements are uploaded with their actual Format and Format Dimension values.
- Tracking: Ad Placements are uploaded as a 1x1 pixel tracker, regardless of the Format and Format Dimension values.
For more information, see Traffic Grid Reference.

OneStrata's third party integrations simplify the digital buying process by providing a single place to enter media schedule information and receive delivery metrics. When a schedule line is committed, OneStrata automatically creates Ad Placement lines that can be uploaded directly to a campaign on an external ad server, without having to re-enter any placement details.
Direct integrations with external providers connect OneStrata to the rest of an agency's ad tech stack, help eliminate data duplication, and reduce the burden of maintaining data integrity across multiple systems.

Depending on how their OneStrata enterprise has been configured, a user may have access to a single set or to multiple sets of login credentials. If multiple sets of login credentials are available for the same provider, the user can choose which set to use.
When logging in to an external integration provider, there are two types of login credentials—individual logins and central logins—that a user might have access to.
Login Type | Description |
---|---|
Individual | The user manually enters their own login information (a valid combination of username and password). Previously, all login credentials were individual. When using a set of individual log in credentials, you must manually enter a username and password in order to connect to the provider. This defines if this External Integration will require the user to log in with their own credentials when selecting it to Login (Individual) or if we'll use information stored in this page to connect (Central). |
Central | The user does not need to enter any login information, because a valid combination of username and password is stored centrally for them. |
