Overview
The Video Targeting tab is exclusively available when setting up a video line item. This tab will not appear for other types of line items.
This page outlines video targeting keys and their respective recommendations.
How it Works
Targeting Keys with the ability to be preset on video type line items:
Targeting Key | Description | Recommendation |
Companion Required | Whether companion is available | Use INCLUDE or EXCLUDE targeting. |
Playback Method | Whether inventory allows auto-play, click-to-play, mouse-over, sound on/off for video | Use INCLUDE or EXCLUDE targeting. |
Player Size | Whether the player size is small, medium, or large Video Player Size is based on the width x height of the pixels in the video player. FreeWheel DSP defines the player size as the following:

Start Delay | Start delay describes whether the video will play pre-roll, generic mid-roll, or generic post roll. | Use INCLUDE or EXCLUDE targeting. |
Video Placement Type | Describes placement of the video in-article, in-banner, in-feed, in-stream, or interstitial/slider/floating | Use INCLUDE or EXCLUDE targeting. |
