Overview

The Video Targeting tab is exclusively available when setting up a video line item. This tab will not appear for other types of line items.

This page outlines video targeting keys and their respective recommendations. 

Targeting Keys

Targeting Keys with the ability to be preset on video type line items:

Player Size

Whether the player size is small, medium, or large.

Video Player Size is based on the width x height of the pixels in the video player. The platform defines the player size as the following:

  • Small = < 90k pixels
  • Medium = Anything between 90k and 250k pixels.
  • Large = > 250k pixels
Use INCLUDE or EXCLUDE targeting.
Start DelayStart delay describes whether the video will play pre-roll, generic mid-roll, or generic post roll.Use INCLUDE or EXCLUDE targeting.
Video Placement Type

In-banner video can be targeted in two ways:

  • Using a video line item that targets in-banner video using the Video Placement Type targeting field. This line item only serves on bid requests that are looking explicitly for video ads with in-banner video.
  • Using a banner line item that is associated with an HTML5 video creative, if the HTML5 creative has a value of Auto-play or Click-to-play for the In-Banner Video creative attribute field. This line item only serves on inventory that allows in-banner video ads.
