FreeWheel uses multiple IP ranges behind global load balancers to manage UI and ad requests, in order to provide redundancy and resilience.
To leverage this redundancy we recommend the following best practices:
- Please ensure that wherever you specify the Freewheel host names, which may look something like 9999f.v.fwmrm.net, the host name and not an IP address is specified. This allows us to use DNS to make IP changes as needed without impacting your setup or integrations.
- If you require ad server IP addresses to be explicitly allowlisted by your firewall configuration, please allow the following ranges:
