The following table describes the OneStrata entities (and linked external entities) that can be verified by Integral Ad Science (IAS).
Provider | OneStrata Entity to External Entity Linking |
|---|---|
IAS (Integral Ad Science) | OneStrata Ad Placement → CM360 placement with IAS tag OneStrata Ad Placement → Innovid placement IAS tag |
Most of OneStrata's integrations with external integration providers are "direct", meaning that some entity in OneStrata is linked to some entity in the external provider:
OneStrata Entity | Provider Type | Linkable External Entity |
|---|---|---|
Campaign | Ad Server | CM360 campaign Innovid campaign |
DSP | DV360 campaign | |
Ad Placement | Ad Server | CM360 placement Innovid placement |
Cost Line | DSP | Buyer Cloud campaign DV360 insertion order The Trade Desk camapign |
Search | Google Ads campaign | |
Social | Meta campaign |
However, OneStrata's integration with IAS is not direct; there is no entity in OneStrata that is linked to an entity in IAS. Instead, IAS verification can be added to Ad Placements and Packages that are trafficked through an ad server integrated with OneStrata.
To add IAS verification to an Ad Placement, do the following:
No action is required in the Schedule Tab or External Integration Tab to add IAS verification to an Ad Placement. |
Ad verification metrics are only available for Ad Placements that have an impression rate type and that are trafficked through an ad server integrated with OneStrata. The available Ad Server providers are:

To view the IAS verification metrics for an Ad Placement, do the following:
| Column Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Verified Units | The number of verified units delivered, as retrieved from IAS. This value is equivalent to the IAS Viewable Impressions metric. |
| Variance | The difference between the delivered units as reported by IAS and the delivered units as reported by the Ad Server provider. This value is calculated according to the following formula: Variance = 3rd Party Units - Verified Units |
| 3rd Party Units | The number of units delivered, as retrieved from the Ad Server provider. |
To use the value of the Verified Units column for actualization, follow the steps in Actualize a Media Cost Line, making sure to select Verified as the actual source in Step 7.
