Overview

The data retention policy for FreeWheel Streaming Hub has been extended from 18 months to 25 months to support enhanced historical data access and long-term analytics. This policy update applies uniformly across all Streaming Hub Live networks, encompassing inventory and campaign-related entities. As part of this change, relevant data will be archived in accordance with the revised retention parameters.

Extended FreeWheel Streaming Hub Data Retention Policy

The following Streaming Hub items fall within the scope of the data retention policy extension:

• Creatives – both direct-sold and programmatic
• Campaigns – insertion orders and placements
• Network Items – video (video group, video series, and video) and site (site section, site, and site groups)

Test Networks vs. Production Network Retention

Test networks will have a shorter data retention policy of six months.

Network Impact

The implementation of this policy applies to all Streaming Hub networks and will be rolled out in phases. As a result, users will observe reduced numbers of the items mentioned above in their networks. These changes are automatically applied to all networks; no action is required. However, any feedback from clients should be addressed by the dates referenced in the 'Feedback from Clients Due Date' column below.
