Other Information

App-Ads.txt Support

This update includes important details about line item targeting and QPS templates. For more information on how these changes may impact you, please refer to the 'How am I affected' section.

What is it? App-ads.txt functionality has been implemented within the ads.txt targeting option on a line item, and will also be available in logs, antenna and Metamarkets reporting. This update provides comprehensive ads.txt support for both web and app environments. Additionally, the status codes have been updated to include both ads.txt and app-ads.txt. See below for the updated status codes:

How am I affected? Starting May 13th, 2025, line items and QPS templates without an environment type will automatically target and filter based on app-ads.txt statuses. To avoid this, add environment type targeting to your line items. For changes to your QPS templates, contact your account representative.

Reduced Pricing and Industry Restrictions for FreeWheel/Comcast Plus Segments

What is it? The FreeWheel and Comcast Plus segments available in targeting have undergone a 70% price reduction. The regular CPM has decreased from $4.00 to $1.25, while the FreeWheel inventory CPM has dropped from $2.50 to $0.75. Additionally, competitive industry restrictions have been removed, with only Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) restrictions now applying.

How am I affected? These updates are automatically applied for all customers who have these segments shared with their buzz keys and account IDs. No action is required from users to access these changes.
