Overview

The Native Video App Install (VAST/VPAID Wrapper) creative promotes app installs, and is available on AdX and MoPub.

How it Works

Required assets include: Title, Description, Video, Main Image (1200x627), and Mobile App Icon

The following fields are available:

Creative FieldsDescription
Creative NameName of the creative
ActiveWhether the creative is active or inactive. Active Line Items must have at least one active creative associated to them.
SecureWhether the creative is secure or not. For a creative to be secure, all URL calls from the creative need to be over HTTPS
Alternative IDAlternative ID for the creative. Use this field to map an creative ID in Beeswax to a creative ID in your system.
AdvertiserAdvertiser under which you are creating this creative. Creatives can be assigned to any line item beneath this advertiser only.
Advertiser DomainThe domain of the advertiser.
Advertiser CategoryThe category of the advertiser. For example if the advertiser is Ford Motor Company, the advertiser category would be “Automotive”.    If you leave this field blank it will inherit the advertiser category you set when you created the Advertiser object. NOTE: Advertiser category is a required field for certain exchanges like MoPub. Lack of an advertiser category will result in you not bidding on MoPub.
Video Ad DurationLength of video in seconds.  Maximum length is 90 seconds.
VAST TagVAST tag URL
Native OfferObject that contains many assets for the native creative, such as logo, title, description, icons, etc. Full description can be found here. Native offers and native creatives are a one to many association.
Click URLThe Click URL triggered when someone clicks on your creative.
Main ImageA creative ad image (with extension .gif, .jpg, .jpeg or .png). Upload the creative asset OR choose an existing asset.  Dimension must be 1200x627.
Technical VendorOn Google’s AdX, any technical vendor including a 3rd party ad server or measurement vendor need to be declared. Failure to declare technical vendors may result in your creatives being rejected by AdX.
Landing Page URLThis is the full URL that the user will land on after clicking on your creative. Failure to include the full URL may result in your creatives being rejected by Google’s AdX.
Video MIME TypesSelect all that apply: FLV, MP4, WEBM, SWF, JS
Video APIThe API framework used in your creative. This field is used for creative matching. Select up to one of the following, if applicable: VPAID 1.0, VPAID 2.0, MRAID-1, MRAID-2
Video Bit RateSelect all that apply: 400, 800, 1200, or 1600+ kbs
