Overview

Navigate to Admin > Account Groups to view and edit account groups.

Multiexcerpt
MultiExcerptNameaccountgroup

Account Groups allow administrators to define a user’s access to a subset of accounts within the Buzz Key. If a user is associated to multiple Account Groups, they will have access to all accounts within those Account Groups. If a user is associated to an Account Group and has the All-Account Access flag set to Yes, the latter will take precedence, giving them access to all accounts in the Buzz Key.

User actions are defined by their assigned Role, but they may perform any of the allowable actions across the accounts to which they have access.

Accessing Account Groups

To access the Account Groups page, navigate to Admin > Account Groups at the top of the screen in Beeswax. Additionally, account groups may be created by clicking the Image Addedbutton, then clicking Account Group at the top right of the UI.

Create an Account Group

Info

The users within the account group will get access to all accounts within the account group. If the same user is in multiple account groups, they will get access to all the accounts within those account groups.

As Customer ID reflects the billing relationship between Beeswax and clients, Beeswax uses that as a bounding factor to prevent data breaches. Only accounts with matching Customer ID's are allowed within the account group and only users within accounts with matching Customer ID's are allowed within the account group.

  1. Navigate to AdminAccount Groups New Account Group.
