In our continued efforts to support client release readiness, the Page Watch feature to opt-in for email notifications is now available for FreeWheel Release Guides.

What are Page Watch Email Notifications?

Page Watch Email Notifications are a feature that allows users to opt-in to receiving email notifications when a watched page is updated. FreeWheel has enabled this feature in the HUB Release space.

What pages can be watched?

Page Watch is available for the pages in the Release space of the HUB. Page Watch is not available in other spaces.

We recommend you watch the release guide page of an MRM release version. You will receive an email when the page is updated as this will often include a new feature or change that is added to the release guide.

What does the email notification contain?

The email notification will contain the content of the page and highlight what was added, changed, or removed.

If the page has a high volume of content, only an excerpt will be in the email but it may not include the parts of the page that were changed. Because of this limitation, we recommend you visit the page and review the updates table to confirm changes.

What updates trigger the email notification?

The email notification is sent for every published update to the page. This will include major changes (e.g., a new feature) or small changes (e.g., fixing a typo or formatting change). There is no option to receive email notifications for specific updates.

How can I watch pages?

On a page in the Release space, (1) click the eye icon in the top right of the page and then (2) select the checkbox next to Watch Page.

How can I stop watching pages?

You can stop watching a page by deselecting the checkbox directly on the page (see step 2 above) or from your HUB user profile where you can easily stop watching multiple pages.
