Overview

Suppliers create an important connection between OneStrata and an external provider platform, enabling data flow across systems.

For Ad Server providers, there are two levels of Supplier linking and mapping:

• An Ad Server provider is linked to one or more Suppliers.
• A Supplier is mapped to an ad server site.

For programmatic (DSP, Search, or Social) providers, there is one level of Supplier linking:

• A programmatic provider is linked to one or more Suppliers.

Manage External Provider to Supplier Linking

There are two ways that the linking between external integration provider and OneStrata Supplier can be managed:

• (Recommended) Via the Provider Mappings grid
• Via a Credential record

The Provider Mappings grid is the recommended way, because it allows you to manage Supplier linking for all programmatic (DSP, Search, or Social) providers at the same time. Through a Credential record, you can only manage Supplier linking for the provider of that record.

Manage Provider to Supplier Linking via the Provider Mappings Grid

To link a Supplier to or unlink a Supplier from a programmatic provider via the Provider Mappings grid, do the following:

1. Go to the Admin > External Integrations > Provider Mappings tab.
   
   
2. In the Provider Mappings grid, for the desired provider, double click the Mapped Suppliers field in the same row.
   
   
3. In the dropdown window, select or deselect the Supplier(s) to link to or unlink from the provider.
   
   
4. Click outside of the dropdown window to confirm the selection.
   
   
5. Click Save Changes. 

Manage Provider to Supplier Linking via a Credential record

To link a Supplier to or unlink a Supplier from an external provider via a Credential record, do the following:

1. Go to the Admin > External Integrations > Credentials tab.
   
   
2. Open a Credential record for the desired provider by clicking the name of the record in the Name / ID column of the Credentials grid.
   
   
3. In the Credential record, go to the Provider tab.
   
   
4. For Linked Suppliers, select or deselect the Supplier(s) to link to or unlink from the provider.
   
   
5. Click outside of the dropdown window to confirm the selection.
   
   
6. Click Save.

Manage Supplier to Ad Server Site Mapping

There are two ways that the mapping between OneStrata Supplier and ad server site can be managed:

• (Recommended) Via a Credential record
• Via the Ad Server dashboard

Using a Credential record is the recommended way for managing Supplier to site mappings, because it is easier to find and modify the appropriate Ad Server provider. Managing Supplier mapping via the Ad Server dashboard requires first creating and/or finding a campaign that uses the desired Ad Server provider, which can be time-consuming.

Manage Supplier to Site Mapping via a Credential Record

To map a Supplier to or unmap a Supplier from an ad server site via a Credential record, do the following:

1. Go to the Admin > External Integrations > Credentials tab.
   
   
2. Open a Credential record for the desired Ad Server provider by clicking the name of the record in the Name / ID column of the Credentials grid.
   
   
3. In the Credential record, go to the Supplier Mapping tab.
   
   
4. If not logged in already, click Log In and log in to the Ad Server provider.
   
   
5. Continue by doing one of the following:
   

   Action	Steps
   Map a Supplier to an ad server site	Click Add Supplier to open the Add Supplier widget. In the Add Supplier widget: For Supplier, select the desired Supplier. Click Add Supplier. This adds a new row for the Supplier in the Supplier Mapping grid. In the Supplier Mapping grid, for the newly added Supplier, click the Site field in the same row to start editing. Select the desired ad server site.
   Unmap a Supplier from an ad server site	In the Supplier Mapping grid, for the desired Supplier, click the Site field in the same row to start editing. Clear the field by clicking the cancellation (white X in a grey circle) icon.

   
   
   
6. Click Save.

Manage Supplier to Site Mapping via the Ad Server Dashboard

To map a Supplier to or unmap a Supplier from an ad server site via the Ad Server dashboard, do the following:

1. Open a campaign that contains an Ad Placement for the desired Ad Server provider.
   
   
2. Go to the Ad Server dashboard of the Ad Server provider.
   
   
3. If not logged in already, log in to the Ad Server provider.
   
   
4. On the Ad Server dashboard, click Supplier Mapping to open the Supplier/Site Mapping widget.
   
   
5. In the Supplier/Site Mapping widget, do one of the following:
   

   Action	Steps
   Map a Supplier to an ad server site	For the desired Supplier, click the Supplier/Site Mapping field in the same row. Enter at least three letters of the ad server site's name. Select the desired ad server site.
   Unmap a Supplier from an ad server site	For the desired Supplier, click the Supplier/Site Mapping field in the same row to start editing. Clear the field by clicking the cancellation (white X in a grey circle) icon.

   
   
   
6. Click Apply.
