Campaigns Module

Media Campaigns

Client and Product Codes Are Displayed In Campaigns

What is it? When viewing and creating campaigns, the codes of Client and Product entities are displayed with their names. Previously, only Client and Product names were displayed.

The addition of Client and Product codes makes it easier to identify or select the appropriate entity, especially for clients or products with similar names.

Where is it? This change affects the following areas:

  • The Client Hierarchy and Product Hierarchy columns of the Media Campaigns grid, located on the Media Campaigns page.
  • The Client Group / Client and Product Group / Product fields on the campaign overview, located on the Overview tab.
  • The Client and Product fields when creating a new campaign.

Do I need to do anything? No — this change is automatically applied to all OneStrata enterprises.

Search For a Campaign Using Estimate External ID

What is it? On the Media Campaigns page, users can search for a campaign using the external ID of any estimates linked to the campaign. Previously, users could only search for a campaign using the name, ID, or external ID of the campaign.

If an estimate in OneStrata is exported to an external financial system like SBMS, its external ID is the identifier of the estimate in the external financial system. Being able to search for a OneStrata campaign using an estimate external ID makes it easier to keep OneStrata and any external systems in sync.

Where is it? This new feature affects the Media Campaigns page, part of the Campaigns module.

Do I need to do anything? No — this new feature is automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.

Schedules

Maximum Length of Schedule Grid Line Names Increased to 512 Characters

What is it? The maximum character length of the Name field on the Schedule grid was increased to 512 characters, for both manually entered names and names created by a concatenated formula. Previously, the maximum length of a Schedule grid line name was 255 characters.

The Name field also has a new character counter, helping users quickly see how long a Schedule grid line name is.

Where is it? This change affects the Schedule grid, located on the Schedule tab.

Do I need to do anything? No — this change is automatically applied to all OneStrata enterprises.

External Integrations

Update a Linked Cost Line

What is it? For Cost Lines that are linked to external integration providers, changes made in OneStrata can be pushed to the provider. Previously, linked Ad Placements could be updated but linked Cost Lines could not be updated.

Values that are mismatched between OneStrata and the external integration provider are highlighted with a yellow background, helping users quickly identify which values should be reviewed and/or updated:

  • When users are logged out from the external integration provider: Values that are mismatched between the committed Cost Line on the Schedule grid and what was last uploaded to the external integration provider are highlighted with a yellow background.
  • When users logged in to the external integration provider: Values that are mismatched between the committed Cost Line on the Schedule grid and the external integration provider are highlighted with a yellow background.

For more information, see Update a Linked Cost Line.

Where is it? This change affects the following areas:

  • The DSP dashboard, located on the External Integrations tab.
  • The Search dashboard, located on the External Integrations tab.
  • The Social dashboard, located on the External Integrations tab.

Do I need to do anything? No — this new feature is automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.

Reports Module

Analytics

View and Query New Estimate Dimensions

What is it? Six new estimate-related dimensions have been added to Analytics:

Table NameDimension Name
EstimateCreated By
EstimateCreated Date
EstimateLast Modified By
EstimateLast Modified Date
EstimateCurrent Estimate Approval State
EstimateCommitted Estimate Spend

These new dimensions make it possible to create queries and reports on estimate budgets and the estimate approval process.

Where is it? This change affects Analytics, which is located on the Reports > Explore Analytics > OneStrata tab.

Do I need to do anything? No — these new fields are automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.

Administration Module

Data Fields and Templates

Add "Estimate External ID" to the Media Schedule and Advertiser View Templates

What is it? The Estimate External ID field can be added to the Schedule grid and Advertiser View page via the Media Schedule and Advertiser View templates, respectively.

If an estimate in OneStrata is exported to an external financial system like SBMS, its external ID (the Estimate External ID value) is the identifier of the estimate in the external financial system. Being able to view the external ID of estimates on the Schedule grid and/or Advertiser View page makes it easier to track estimates across OneStrata and any external systems.

Where is it? This new template field affects the following areas:

  • If the Estimate External ID field is added to the Media Schedule template, the Estimate External ID column is available on the Schedule grid.
  • If the Estimate External ID field is added to the Advertiser View template, the Estimate External ID column is available on the Advertiser View page.

The Media Schedule and Advertiser View templates are managed on the Administration > Data Fields and Templates page.

How am I affected? Changes to templates do not apply retroactively. If the Media Schedule or Advertiser View template is changed, only campaigns created after the template is changed and saved will display the changes.

Do I need to do anything? No — this new template field is automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.
