Overview

The External Integration Administration page is where agency administrations can set up new external integrations and manage existing integrations.

OneStrata's third party integrations simplify the digital buying process by providing a single place to enter media schedule information and receive delivery metrics.

Direct integrations with external providers connect OneStrata to the rest of an agency's ad tech stack, help eliminate data duplication, and reduce the burden of maintaining data integrity across multiple systems.

External Integration Administration Terms and Concepts

This section contains information about terms and concepts related to external integration administration.

Entity Levels

External integrations can be created at different levels:

EnterpriseThe external integration is created at the enterprise level and can be assigned to campaigns for any client.
Agency

The external integration can only be assigned to campaigns for clients that belong to a specific Agency entity,

Business UnitThe external integration can only be assigned to campaigns for clients that belong to a specific Business Unit entity.
Client GroupThe external integration can only be assigned to campaigns for clients that belong to a specific Client Group entity.
ClientThe external integration can only be assigned to campaigns for a specific Client entity.

Linked Suppliers

When creating an external integration, at least one Supplier entity must be linked to the selected external integration provider.

Depending on the provider type, the role of the linked Supplier(s) is different:

Provider TypeDescription

Ad Server

A Supplier cannot be linked to two different Ad Server providers at the same time.

The linked Supplier is used for the fee assignment of ad serving costs.

When adding a fee to the media schedule to represent ad serving costs, the Supplier linked to the Ad Server provider and the Supplier of the Assigned fee should be the same.

DSP

A Supplier can be linked to more than one DSP, Search, or Social provider.

The linked Supplier is used to assign an external provider to a Cost Line.

When a Cost Line is committed, if the Supplier of that Cost Line is linked to an external integration provider, that Cost Line becomes available on the corresponding external integration dashboard.

Login Types

A user may have access to a single set or to multiple sets of login credentials; if multiple sets of login credentials are available for the same provider, the user can choose which set to use when logging in to the external integration provider.

There are two types of login credentials that a user might have access to:

Individual

The user manually enters their own login information (a valid combination of username and password).

Central

The user does not need to enter any login information, because a valid combination of username and password is stored centrally for them.
