This page describes the process for a multi-sync tags solution.
Standard Multi-sync Tag
To sync with multiple third-party data providers and exchanges, FreeWheel DSP offers a multi-sync iframe tag.
Example of the iframe tag:
<iframe src="https://match.prod.bidr.io/cookie-msync?buzz_key=<your_buzz_key>" height="0" width="0" ... />
This tag calls the FreeWheel DSP multi-sync endpoint (a buyer-initiated sync) and synchronizes the user with our partner data providers.
- First-time encounters: When a user encounters the tag for the first time, it syncs with 10 partners.
- Subsequent encounters: Each time the same user encounters the tag again, it syncs with an additional 10 partners, and so on.
Custom Multi-sync Tag
For customers who want to prioritize certain sync partners and improve match rates with specific data providers or exchanges, FreeWheel DSP offers a custom multi-sync tag.
The setup for the custom tag is the same as the standard tag on the page. However, the FreeWheel DSP multi-sync endpoint can be configured by your account manager to specify:
- Which data partners to sync with
- The order in which the partners are synced
If you wish to implement a custom multi-sync tag, please reach out to your account representative or contact support.
- Custom configurations on your pixel will override the default FreeWheel DSP sync settings.
- Any new partners added to FreeWheel DSP's default sync settings will not be automatically included in your custom list.
