Overview

Custom segments in Peer39 provide flexibility to define unique targeting using keywords or categories not included in the standard taxonomy. These segments are created within a P39 account, rather than being prebuilt by Peer39. Custom segments are named using the format: zonename_segmentname. They are ideal for creating keyword or category segments tailored to specific campaign needs, allowing for fine-tuned targeting strategies and potentially improved results.

 How to Request a Custom Segment

1. Platform Setup/Connect with Peer39
   1. Ensure the Augmenter is enabled for the Buzzkey. Then, email "peer39am@peer39.com" to obtain access/login to the Peer39 platform.
      
      
2. Create the Segment Log into the Peer39 platform.
   1. Create a Custom Content Segment (keywords) or Custom Category Segment. Note that only Custom CTV Keyword data is available via Peer39. Then, save the segment and push the new custom data to FreeWheel DSP.
      
      
3. Prepare and Send the Request
   1. Use the provided template that is available by request from a customer success manager or account manager. Fill in the following required fields:

4. Submit to Support
   1. Email the completed file to support. This initiates the custom data onboarding process.
