Pacing Customization: Pacing Behavior, Multiplier, and Catchup Behavior

What is it? Three new enhancements offer increased customization for pacing:

  • New Pacing Options: The addition of "Even" and "Ahead" pacing options allows for more flexible budget management.

  • Multiplier Option: The Multiplier feature enables further customization of the “Even” and “Ahead” pacing behaviors by adjusting the spend speed. Users can set a multiplier between 1.0 and 2.0 to artificially inflate the budget to make pacing more aggressive.

  • Catchup Behavior: The Catchup Behavior feature defines how the system should adjust its spending pace when falling behind the budget delivery rate, offering choices for immediate, even, or smooth catch-up strategies.

These enhancements provide greater control over pacing strategies and budget management.

How am I affected? If using the API to enable the pacing enhanced settings, please update your API call. This feature is automatically applied to all accounts; no user action is required.
