Overview

Custom Segment Expiration (also known as Time-To-Live or TTL) allows customers to define the number of days users should remain within a given segment.

How it Works

  • In the Create Segment screen, the "Days" field is where you can set this value.  The maximum value is 90 days.
  • Segment TTLs are set on the segment object itself, so all users who are associated with a given segment will inherit the TTL value set on the segment.  The TTL is set starting on create_time of the segment upload with user<>segment association.
  • Any newly created segments that do not explicitly define a custom Segment TTL will default to 30 days

The TTL for a segment can not be changed once it is set

  • No labels
