In this article: Overview Video Guidelinesi The list below contains guidelines regarding Endpoint Certification for video traffic: All endpoints are required to be certified by Freewheel before going live. Certification is obtained by submitting each endpoint for Endpoint QA through the FreeWheel Support Portal. In order to pass endpoint Quality Assurance (QA), the FreeWheel team has implemented a process in accordance with the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) guidelines designed to detect if an integration records/fires impression beacons upon the beginning of a video ad's rendering. For more information, please see the IAB Measurement Guidelines . Clients will be informed if their endpoint has passed or failed the QA process. FreeWheel will keep a record of endpoints that have passed or failed QA. FreeWheel reserves the right to periodically audit all endpoints to ensure certifications are maintained. Based on periodic audits, if we discover an endpoint that does not pass QA is live, we ask clients to update the endpoint to meet the required standards and resubmit for QA within 60 days of being informed of QA failure. The list below contains guidelines regarding Endpoint Certification for display traffic: In order to be certified, all display endpoints must demonstrate that they are following the 'Begin to Render' standard in accordance with the IAB guidelines . Today, only display endpoints that use the FreeWheel AdManager have demonstrated they meet this standard. In order for display traffic to remain compliant, all clients must either (1) integrate using FreeWheel’s AdManager, or (2) certify that you meet this standard by 3 rd party audit.
