# Overview

An **API theme **is a grouping of APIs. Your API application can be granted access to one or more themes, with one of the following permission levels assigned to each theme: 

- Read
- Read/Write
- Read/Write/Delete
- None

The network administrator determines which themes and permission levels are available to each API application. You can check the themes and permission levels of your API applications in **Partner Portal** > **Applications **> **API Permissions**.

> ℹ️ APIs that are not included in a theme must be provisioned separately by FreeWheel Support.

## Demand

**Demand** APIs cover the commercial side of advertising: the buyers, campaigns, orders, placements, creatives, and programmatic deal objects used to plan and activate demand.
