# What is Partner Portal?

Partner Portal is FreeWheel's self-service platform for partners to request API access, experiment in a secure sandbox, and build integrations with FreeWheel clients. Partners apply once and, after approval, receive API credentials to build and test against sandbox data. Access to a client's network data is granted separately by the client, who controls which APIs and permissions each partner receives. Because every integration runs on the same FreeWheel APIs, partners can reuse what they build across multiple publisher clients rather than rebuilding applications for each client.

This guide is written for partners, who are external providers that work with FreeWheel clients to deliver services such as building, booking, or ingesting campaigns. Partner Portal allows partners to access client data without requiring a direct commercial relationship with FreeWheel.

# Partner Portal UI

As of the [7.18 release](https://freewheel-knowledge-hub.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHUGSTG/pages/287178788), the Partner Portal contains the Applications module.

## [Applications Module](https://freewheel-knowledge-hub.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PPUG/pages/460652708)

The Applications module is a centralized hub for partners to view and manage their API applications, displayed in a searchable, filterable table. Applications appear from both tiers of access: sandbox environments provided by FreeWheel for testing, and client network access granted by individual clients.

This module allows partners to oversee their API access across FreeWheel test and client networks, confirm their permissions, and access credentials to generate API access tokens.
