Overview We’re enhancing your account and organizational security by updating our login process to include authentication via: FreeWheel's ID Broker authentication; or Your organization's SSO authentication provider. Over the coming months, we'll migrate your account to one of the new authentication workflows. Do I need to take action now? No. You'll be notified by email when your account is scheduled for migration to one of the new authentication workflows. Authentication with FreeWheel ID Broker What is ID Broker? ID Broker (via Okta) is Comcast Advertising's identity provider, and is used to verify and manage user accounts within Comcast Advertising applications. As part of Comcast Advertising, Strata is migrating authentication for its applications to ID Broker, unless your organization has its own SSO authentication provider. What is the migration process like? / How do I set up ID Broker? After your account is migrated to ID Broker, you'll need to set up an ID Broker account with MFA (multi-factor authentication) before you can continue using Strata applications. The setup process has the following steps: Description Screenshot 1 For users with existing Strata accounts: Log in to your Strata account at https://us.strata.freewheel.com . After logging in, you will be redirected to ID Broker. For users creating new Strata accounts: You will receive an email inviting you to ID Broker (via Okta). The title of the email will be "Welcome to Okta!" or similar. In the email, click Activate Okta Account. You will be redirected to ID Broker. 2   For users with existing Strata accounts: Log in to ID Broker with your Strata login credentials and click  Verify . For users creating new Strata accounts: On the ID Broker activation page, click  Set Up to continue. Create your ID Broker account password and click Next . Your ID Broker account username is the same as your Strata username, and cannot be changed. 3 Set up at least one method of MFA: Google Authenticator (mobile application) Okta Verify (mobile application) Security Key or Biometric Authenticator (hardware key or built‑in device authentication) You should select the MFA method that works for your organization and workflow. 4 After setting up your ID Broker account with MFA, you will be redirected to the ID Broker dashboard. You can now close this tab and log in to your Strata application(s). For more information, see How will my login experience change? What MFA methods are supported? ID Broker supports the following MFA methods: Authenticator apps, including Okta Verify and Google Authenticator. Support for additional authentication apps can be configured through the Security Key or Biometric Authenticator security method. Biometric Authenticators, including device-based authentication on Windows, iPhone, Android, or iPad devices (via QR code). Security keys, such as hardware tokens or plugin security key devices. Can I change my MFA method after setup? Yes. You can update your MFA method at any time in the ID Broker Dashboard. To update your MFA method: Open the ID Broker Dashboard ( https://login.freewheel.com/app/UserHome ). Click your name in the top right corner of the dashboard. Select Account Settings . Under the Security Methods section, set up or remove MFA methods as needed. What if I no longer have access to my MFA method? If you no longer have access to your configured MFA method, please contact support by submitting a request at https://freewheel.zendesk.com . How will my login experience change? After you have created an ID Broker account with MFA , your new Strata login experience will have the following steps: Step 1 Go to your Strata application URL: For Strata Agency applications, this URL is https://us.strata.freewheel.com . For Strata Seller applications, this URL depends on the specific application. 2 Enter your Strata username and click Next , Sign in , Login , or similar. You will be redirected to the FreeWheel ID Broker login page. 3 On the FreeWheel login page, for Email , enter your ID Broker username (which is the same as your Strata username) and click Next . Follow the authentication provider's instructions. Authentication with your own authentication provider If your organization has its own SSO authentication provider, you will not receive an email from ID Broker (via Okta) and will not need to create an ID Broker account.
