# Overview

Reviewing a listing is a critical step in the Curation Hub workflow. Listings serve as the agency-facing record of the terms negotiated offline with a publisher. A thorough review helps confirm that the listing accurately reflects the negotiated agreement before it is accepted and converted into a purchased order.

---

# Before Beginning

Before a listing appears for review in Curation Hub, the agency and publisher should already have agreed on commercial terms, including price, data rights, and access to standardized supply attributes and audience signals. The publisher then creates a Marketplace Platform Private listing for the agency’s Curation Hub network.

# Review a Listing

### 1. Review the general listing details

Open the listing and begin by reviewing the summary and General tab details. Confirm the following information:

- Listing name
- Seller
- Description
- Transaction type
- Priority
- Flight dates
- Price or CPM
- Available impressions, if applicable
- Supported devices

Pay close attention to transaction type and priority. Listings may be guaranteed or non-guaranteed, and priority may be set to above guaranteed, among guaranteed, below guaranteed, or backfill, depending on the publisher agreement.

### 2. Review targeting details

Open the **Targeting** tab and validate that the inventory aligns with campaign needs and with the negotiated supply pool.

Review the following targeting areas as applicable:

#### Content attributes

Content attributes describe the content included in the listing and may include:

- Genre
- Language
- TV rating
- Duration
- Stream type
- Brand
- Programmer
- Series
- Channel
- Subscription model

#### Platform and endpoint attributes

Platform and endpoint attributes describe where and how the inventory is consumed and may include:

- Endpoint owner
- Endpoint name
- Device type
- Environment
- Operating system
- IP-enabled audience

#### Geography attributes

Geography attributes describe where ads may be delivered and can include:

- Country
- DMA
- Postal code
- City
- State

#### Ad unit attributes

Review supported ad unit types, such as preroll, midroll, or postroll, to confirm the listing supports the required ad opportunities.

#### Custom daypart

If present, review custom daypart details to confirm that the listing’s delivery window aligns with the campaign’s required days, hours, and time zone.

### 3. Review data rights

Open the **Data Rights** tab and verify which signals are permissioned for targeting, reporting, event-level visibility, and downstream sharing.

This is an important validation step because data rights determine which identifiers and metadata can pass through the listing. If specific rights are required, they must be negotiated with the publisher in advance.

Available rights include:

| | |
| --- | --- |
| **Targetable & Reportable Aggregate** | Controls whether a buyer can use the attribute in placement targeting, analytics, and Marketplace Insights. |
| **Reportable-Event (Full Right)** | Controls whether a buyer has data visibility on the attribute in V4 log files. |
| **Reportable-Event (Partial Right)** | Controls whether a buyer has data visibility on the attribute in V4 log files. |
| **Externally Sharable** | Controls whether a buyer can share the signal with downstream partners outside the system. |

Depending on the listing, rights may apply to:

- Visitor Custom ID
- Device ID
- IP
- Visitor user agent
- Key values
- Universal ID
- Geography signals
- Content metadata

### 4. Review business rules and restrictions

Open the **Business Rules** section and confirm that the operational and commercial rules match the negotiated agreement.

Review the following:

#### Budget and pricing

Validate the listing’s:

- Pricing model
- Currency
- CPM
- Available impressions, if applicable

#### Billing setup

Confirm whether media cost will be billed directly by the seller or by FreeWheel.

> ℹ️ In most cases, FreeWheel serves as the clearing house for billing. For questions about billing setup or configuration, contact a FreeWheel representative.

#### Restrictions

Review any restrictions that may affect campaign eligibility, including:

- Creative duration
- Advertiser restrictions
- Advertiser brand restrictions
- Industry restrictions
