Seat Types There are two types of Seat IDs to use for configuring deals, explained below: Seat Type Description Usage Customer Seat Every customer receives a unique Customer Seat ID.  Use the Customer Seat ID when all accounts under the same customer are eligible to bid on a deal. Account Seat Customers with more than one account also receive a unique Account Seat ID per account. Customers with only one account only receive a Customer Seat ID. Use the Account Seat ID when only a specific account is eligible to bid on a deal. Seat Billing Types Buyer Cloud has two billable seat types that describe who an exchange or SSP bills for media spend on a specific seat. The two billable seat types are as follows: Seat Billing Type Description Direct-billable seat A seat where the exchange or SSP bills you directly for media spend tied to your seat. You will have your own billing relationship with the SSP or exchange. Also known as a “customer-billable seat.” Some exchanges support billable seats, while others do not. Billable seats in Buyer Cloud are enabled at the customer level. If you have multiple accounts underneath your customer seat and your customer seat is customer-billable, all of your account seats will also be customer-billable. Buyer Cloud-billable seat A seat where the exchange or SSP bills Buyer Cloud for media spend tied to your seat. Buyer Cloud will send an invoice including your spend for this seat. Set Up a Direct-Billable Seat To set up a billable seat with an exchange: Provide the exchange with your Customer Seat ID.
