Overview The Admin module allows the creation and management of accounts, account groups, users, roles, and alert settings. Within this module, users can create new accounts  for each customer and add new users . User permissions are applied to roles that govern user actions, and account groups that control which accounts a user can access. Alert Settings inform users about a variety of account activities through different communication methods. Accessing Admin Module To access the Admin module, hover over the  Admin  button in the top navigation at the top of the screen. From this view, the features listed below are available. Admin Module Features Accounts Buyer Cloud users with custom configurations benefit from Multi-account functionality, which enables a single UI instance to support multiple business entities with separate accounts and no data overlap. This capability exists because custom configuration users receive a unique buzz key that activates a UI instance that can create multiple business accounts with their own unique bidder configuration. In comparison, Buyer Cloud customers with standard configurations who log in to dsp.beeswax.com are limited to single-account access rather than having the ability to create multiple business accounts. To reset an account password, select "Forget Password" at the login screen. What is a Buzzkey? A Buzzkey is a unique identifier used exclusively within FreeWheel’s custom Buyer Cloud platform to establish and manage customer access. It’s a distinctive alphanumeric string (up to 20 characters) that represents an individual customer’s instance of the user interface. Think of it as a customer’s digital “namespace” within the custom Buyer Cloud ecosystem.  Alert Settings A range of alerts keeps users informed about campaign activities, including creative approvals, budget limits, campaign end dates, and video transcoding statuses. Alerts are delivered through three channels: UI Alerts : Visible in the top right corner of the interface, next to the bell icon. Email : Alerts can be sent to multiple email addresses, which should be entered in a comma-separated list without spaces. Slack : Alerts can be directed to specific Slack channels and customized with different emojis. To set this up, create a Slack channel, add your API key in the Buyer Cloud UI (obtained from  Slack's API token page ), and configure your alert settings by navigating to  Admin  >  Alert Settings  in the UI navigation bar. Account Groups Account Groups allow administrators to define a user’s access to a subset of accounts within the Buzz Key. If a user is associated with multiple Account Groups, they will have access to all accounts within those Account Groups. If a user is associated with an Account Group  and  has the All-Account Access flag set to Yes, the flag will take precedence, granting them access to all accounts in the Buzz Key.  User actions are defined by their assigned  Role , but they may perform any of the allowable actions across the accounts to which they have access. Users with custom Buyer Cloud setups should contact their account representative to add users to their account group. This step is necessary because the multi-account customer setting is not enabled for custom Buyer Cloud customers, to prevent regular account administrators from modifying the account access level for users. Users Users are a way to create roles for an account that have varying permissions. Users are also appointed an "access level" which determines if the created user has access to the current accounts within the Buzz Key, all accounts, or current accounts with selectable account groups. When a new user is created under a Buzz Key, an email will then be sent to the provided email address, and the recipient will be asked to verify their email and define a password for use with Buyer Cloud. Once this step is complete, the user will activate and be able to log into Buyer Cloud with the created email and password combination. Roles Roles are applied to users and govern which actions they can or cannot take. Users with administrator privileges or role-creation rights can create new custom roles via the UI and API. For instructions on how to create new roles via API, see  Roles .
