Overview Creating a campaign allows configuring particular settings like start/end dates and budget for a group of desired line items. Line items grouped into a campaign provide flexibility in targeting, budget allocation, and bidding strategy.  For information on making campaigns, see  Create a Campaign . Access the Campaigns Page Navigate to  Trafficking  >  Campaigns . Campaigns Page UI Elements The Campaigns page contains the following elements: Item Location Description Search bar Top left Use the search bar to search for campaigns by name ( Campaign Name ) or ID ( Campaign ID ). Edit Mode  toggle Top right Toggle on  Edit Mode  to edit a campaign’s  Name ,  Status ,  Budget , or  Start/End Dates  directly from the list view. New Campaign  button Top right Click the  New Campaign  button to start the campaign creation process. Menu  icon (three dots) Top right Click the menu icon to: Manage Columns : Select additional columns to display in the list view and change the order of the columns in the list view. Export : Export the current list view page to a CSV, XSLX, JSON or XML file. Quick Filters  section Left of the list view The  Quick Filters  section contains a selection of commonly used filters that can be quickly applied to the list view. Some, but not all, quick filters can be applied with other quick filters. When multiple quick filters are applied, only items that match all filter criteria (AND logic) are displayed. The Campaigns list view quick filters are: Active : Campaigns with  Status  as  Active . Spent Today : Campaigns that have spent money on impressions today. Associated Line Items : Campaigns associated with at least one line item. Edited Today : Campaigns that have been edited today. Ending Within 7 Days : Campaigns with an end date occurring in the next 7 days. Ending This Month : Campaigns with an end date occurring this month, Ending This Quarter : Campaigns with an end date occurring this quarter. Out of Budget : Campaigns that have spent more than their budget. Favorites Only : Filters for campaigns you have favorited. Budget  filter section Left of the list view Filter the list view by the campaign budget. The filter will show both  Spend  and  Impression  budget types. Campaigns list view Center of the page The list view shows summary details of each campaign under an account. Action bar Appears at the bottom of the list view, after selecting at least one campaign Use the action bar to: Start the bulk edit workflow for the selected campaigns by selecting the  Bulk Edit  button. Deactivate all selected campaigns at once by selecting the  Deactivate  button. Default Campaign List View Columns Column Name Definition Name & ID Campaign name and unique ID. Line Items The line Items that are associated with this campaign. Clicking the number will navigate to the line items list view screen. Status Active or Inactive. The campaign will not spend if set to Inactive. Budget Total budget allocated to the campaign. The number displayed on top is the total budget, while the number displayed at the bottom is the remaining budget. Start/End Date Campaign Start and End date set during the creation process. Today Spend (Scroll to the right in UI to view) Spend on the current day. Lifetime Spend (Scroll to the right in UI to view) Campaign lifetime total spend. Today Impressions (Scroll to the right in UI to view) Impressions served on the current day. Lifetime Impressions (Scroll to the right in UI to view) Total impressions over the course of the campaign life cycle. Campaign Tabs When you open a campaign, by default the campaign opens on its  Summary  tab, which contains an overview of how the campaign is configured. Each campaign contains the following tabs: Tab Name Description Summary The  Summary  tab contains an overview of the fields set in the  General  tab. To edit any of these fields, click on them to open the related category in the  General  tab. General The  General  tab contains general settings for this campaign. You can edit any of these fields here, and select  Save  at the bottom to save your changes and go back to the campaign list view. Line Items The  Line Items  tab contains a list view of all line items created under this campaign. You can take all of the standard line item list view actions from this page, and the campaign will automatically be set as the campaign you are in. Modifiers The  Modifiers  tab is where you can set bid or delivery modifiers at the campaign level. In this tab, you can create a new modifier or apply a modifier that has already been created. For more information on creating modifiers, see  Modifiers . Activity Log The  Activity Log  tab contains a record of the recent changes made to this campaign. From this tab, you can review previous versions of this campaign and restore a previous version, if needed. Campaign > Summary Tab The  Summary  tab contains an overview of the fields set in the  General  tab. To edit any of these fields, click on them to open the related category in the  General  tab. Campaign > General Tab The  General  tab contains general settings for this campaign. You can edit any of these fields here, and select  Save  at the bottom to save your changes and go back to the campaign list view. Essential Settings *Required Field Name Description Start/End Date* To schedule a campaign, set a Start Date and an optional End Date. If an End Date is not set, the campaign will continue running until it runs out of Budget or is made inactive. Default Line Item Preset Select a pre-created line item preset via drop-down. Default Targeting Preset Select a pre-created targeting preset via drop-down. Currency* The desired currency this campaign will operate in.  Continents* The continents where this campaign will run.  Budget Type* Line item budgets must be the same as the budget used in the campaign that houses the line item. Budget types at the line item level can be one of the following types: Impressions  - based on the number of impressions Spend  - based on a dollar amount Spend with Vendor Fees  - based on a dollar amount, including any associated vendor fees For more information, see  Budget Types . Budget* The overall budget of the campaign. The budget type applied to the campaign must be used for any associated line items as well. Daily Budget The daily budget cap of the campaign. Spend will not exceed this amount. Alternative ID A number or string used to map this object to an object in your system. Notes Any notes that are applicable to this specific campaign. Frequency Cap Field Name Description ID Type The type of ID to which the frequency cap will be applied. Options include: Standard (cookie or device type) IP Address Customer ID Person ID Use Fallback toggle Whether Buyer Cloud will use a backup identifier for frequency capping if the selected  ID Type  is not available. Frequency Cap Add a frequency cap for how many ads can be served over a specific time period. Select  Add Another Frequency Cap  to add additional frequency caps.  You can add a maximum of three frequency caps at the campaign level. See  Frequency Caps  for more information. Vendor Fees Field Name Description ID No action required.  This field will populate with an ID for tracking this vendor fee instance after applying a vendor and saving the creative. Vendor The vendor you wish to use. To create a new vendor, see  Vendors . Vendor Fee Name The name of the vendor fee to apply. By default, this field is the  Vendor Name  of the applied vendor. Fee Type The type of vendor fee. Possible values: Default : The default vendor fee applied to the selected vendor. Custom CPM : The vendor fee is calculated as a flat fee for every 1,000 impressions. Custom Percent : The vendor fee is calculated as a percentage of the total cost of the impression. Fee Amount The amount charged as the vendor fee. By default, this field is the  Fee Amount  of the applied vendor. Custom Conversion Tag Association Field Name Description Conversion Tag A tag used to track conversions, installs, or other key activities. If the advertiser selected in the campaign creation process has an associated conversion tag, the dropdown will allow that conversion tag to be selected. To learn more about conversion tags, see  Conversion Tags . Select  Add Another Association  to add another conversion tag to this campaign. Revenue Field Name Description Revenue Type Select a type of revenue to report on for the campaign: Cost Per Acquisition Basis : The cost for a conversion or acquisition. Cost Per Click (CPC) Basis : The cost for clicking on an ad. Cost Per Completed Video Basis : The cost for a completed video watch. Cost Per Install Basis : The cost for an app install from an ad. CPM Basis : The cost for 1,000 impressions. None : No revenue model applied. Revenue Amount The price to charge for a unit of the  Revenue Type . SKAd Network SKAdNetwork is only applicable for running mobile app install campaigns on iOS 14 or later and is not applicable on the following: iOS 13 or older Android For re-engagement or retargeting campaigns on iOS 14. SKAd Tracking must be enabled on the associated advertiser in order to be enabled on a campaign. Field Name Description Enable SKAd Tracking Toggle Yes or No to enable SKAd for this campaign. Experiments Field Name Description Test Plan Select a type of plan via the dropdown. Plans fall into two categories: split and hold-out. A split plan divides users into multiple groups for testing. In split plans, all groups are testing a different variable and no users are held out for a control group. A hold-out plan sets aside a certain amount of users to be in a control group. For example, a 10% hold-out plan will serve a control ad or no ad to 10% of users in the group. A split plan with a hold-out will set aside the specified percentage of users for a control group, and divide the rest of the group into testing groups based on the amount of splits. ID Type The user ID type used for the experiment. Campaign > Line Items Tab The  Line Items  tab contains a list view of all line items created under this campaign. You can take all of the standard line item list view actions from this page, and the campaign will automatically be set as the campaign you are in. For a full description of the columns in the line items tab, see  Line Items . Campaign > Modifiers Tab The  Modifiers  tab is where you can set bid or delivery modifiers at the campaign level. There is an option to  Choose Existing  when creating a modifier. This will present a dropdown of pre-created options created on the account level. To learn more, please see  Modifiers . Bid Modifier Tab Field Name Description Name* The bid modifier's name. Advertiser* Select the advertiser on the account for this modifier to be applied to. This may be configured as an "Account-Level modifier." Bid Model Select a bid model via the dropdown. Matching bid model’s values will be multiplied by bid modifier terms. Max Bid* Final bid prices will be capped at this value. Min Bid Final bid prices will be floored at this value. Alternative ID A custom alternative ID that may be used for separate reporting needs. Notes Relevant notes for this bid modifier. Delivery Modifier Tab Field Name Description Name* The delivery modifier's name. Advertiser* Select the advertiser on the account for this modifier to be applied to. This may be configured as an "Account-Level modifier." Modifier Type Two selection types will be available: With Terms : Select desired targeting fields for the Modifier. With Model : Select a pre-created model and apply a Fallback Weight. Notes Relevant notes for this delivery modifier. Alt ID A custom alternative ID that may be used for separate reporting needs. Campaign > Activity Log Tab The  Activity Log  tab contains a record of the recent changes made to this campaign. From this tab, you can review previous versions of this campaign and restore a previous version, if needed. Column Name Description Log ID An associated Log ID to the specific activity. Category The location of the change within the Campaign settings. Field Which field in the Campaign settings that was altered. Added Any settings added. Removed Any settings removed. Action The specific action that was taken during the change. Options include  Create ,  Update , and  Delete . Select the  Action  heading to filter activity log entries by action type. Update  entries are removed from the activity log after 90 days. Date & Time Date & Time of the activity. User & ID The User & ID of the user who made the change. Review & Restore Select the restore button to open the  Review and Restore  widget, where you can review all Campaign settings for this previous version. To replace the current version of the campaign with this version, select  Restore this Version  at the bottom of the widget.
