The Activity Log tab offers a detailed record of all modifications made to a specific line item. Each row in the log represents a unique change to the item's configuration. This view allows users to restore previous versions of line item settings, while also providing a complete history of all adjustments. By tracking changes and enabling potential reversals, the log serves as a valuable tool for managing line item configurations effectively. |
To access the Activity Log tab, click on the line item name, then navigate to the rightmost tab. The following table details the available fields within the activity log screen:
Column Name | Description |
---|---|
Log ID | A unique five-digit ID assigned to a specific activity. This ID represents an individual action that modifies a line item. For example, if the name of a line item is changed, that action will appear as a separate line item in the report with its own unique ID. |
Category | The location of the change in which the setting has been updated for the line item. For example, this column may show "Targeting" if the update was made to the line item's targeting. |
Field | This column identifies the specific field for where the change occurred. An example could be "Environment Type" if the targeted environment has been changed. |
Added | Any settings added to the line item. For example, if additional targeting was added, this change would appear in the "Added" column. |
Removed | Any settings removed from the line item. For example, removing a targeting value from the line item would appear in the "Removed" column. |
Action | The specific action that was taken during the change. Options include: Update, Create, Delete. |
Date & Time | Date & Time of the activity. |
User & ID | The User & ID of the user who made the change. |
Review & Restore | Restore a previous version of this activity to be applied back to the line item. When clicking restore, any errors related to the restoration become available to view in a warning message. Review these notifications prior to restoring that version. |
