Overview

Targeting presets help reduce time spent on manual processes during trafficking by pre-populating fields in the Overview tab of Campaigns and Line Items. This feature is particularly useful for filling out targeting settings that need to be consistent across multiple line items, streamlining the process and increasing efficiency.

How it Works

Create a Targeting Preset from Scratch

  1. Navigate to Trafficking > Presets.

  2. Enter a name for the Targeting Preset and choose whether it should be Account Level or Advertiser-specific.

  3. Select the desired targeting settings.

  4. Click Save.

Create a Targeting Preset from Existing Targeting

  1. Go to the line item targeting's Summary tab.

  2. Click Save as Targeting Preset.

  3. Enter a name for the Targeting Preset and choose whether it should be Account Level or Advertiser-specific.

  4. Click Save.



Setting Default Targeting Presets

Targeting presets can be set as default at either the advertiser or campaign level. When a default is configured for both levels, new line items will automatically have the targeting populated with the campaign-level targeting preset default. It is important to note that only Account-Level and Advertiser-specific Targeting Presets will be available for selection as defaults.

Applying a Targeting Preset to Line Item Targeting

To apply a Targeting Preset to Line Item targeting, follow these steps:

If there is no existing targeting (i.e., during new Line Item creation), the available Targeting Presets will be the only options to choose from.

However, if there is existing targeting, two options will be available:

In the Add to Existing option, if there are conflicting targeting parameters, hovering over the conflicting parameters will change their highlight from red to grey, and a checkmark will appear to indicate which parameter will be retained once the conflict is resolved and the Targeting Preset is successfully merged.
