If the segment tag appears to be implemented correctly but no user count is showing in the UI, consider the following:
Time Since Implementation: User counts are typically processed once per day. If the tag was added within the past 24 hours, check again the following day for an updated count.
Low-Traffic Page: The user count is estimated using a probabilistic method, so if the page has low traffic, the count may not appear.
Verification: If necessary, reach out to support to confirm that users are being segmented correctly and that the cookie ID has been added to the segment.
Tag Type - "Javascript Tag Using Alternative ID": If the tag type is “Javascript Tag Using Alternative ID to add users into a segment,” confirm with support whether this feature has been enabled for the account.
If it has been more than 24 hours since the tag was implemented and none of the above points apply, contact support further assistance.
