Line Items

Geo Targeting for ZIP + 4 and Full International Postal Codes

What is it? Buyer Cloud now supports geo targeting using ZIP + 4 and full international postal codes. You can now target and optimize on these postal codes. ZIP + 4 and international postal codes are also supported in the following areas:

  • QPS filtering
  • ZIP code lists
  • Bid and delivery modifiers
  • Bid and delivery models
  • Data augmenters
  • Bidding agents
  • Logs

Note that ZIP + 4 code data is provided to FreeWheel by Digital Element, and all other geo data is provided by MaxMind. Occasionally, these providers may resolve the same IP address to two different locations.

Where is it? To target postal codes with a line item, navigate to Targeting > Geo > ZIP Code or ZIP Code List.

Do I need to do anything? This feature is automatically available for all Buyer Cloud accounts with standard setups, but customers with custom setups will need to enable this feature. Contact your account representative for more information.

Creatives

CONTENT_ID Macro Added to Creative Macros

What is it? A new macro, CONTENT_ID, is now available to include in creatives. CONTENT_ID reports a unique identifier for the content where the creative served.

Where is it? All macros, including CONTENT_ID, can be included in a creative through the UI or APIs:

  • UI: The CONTENT_ID macro can be added to the Click URL field when creating or editing a creative.
  • API: Include the macro in a creative or creative template via the Creatives API or Creative Templates API.

Do I need to do anything? No action required. The macro is automatically available for use in all creatives.

Learn More: For the complete list of supported Buyer Cloud macros, see the Macros API documentation.

Reporting

Video Content (FreeWheel) Report for Streaming Hub Inventory

What is it? The new Video Content (FreeWheel) Report surfaces Series Name alongside standard campaign and account fields for opted-in FreeWheel Streaming Hub publisher inventory.

The report provides campaign-level, post-impression series transparency while protecting viewer privacy via aggregation and a 20-impression threshold.

Where is it? This report can be accessed through report builder in Analytics Video Content (FreeWheel) Report.

Do I need to do anything? This report is automatically available for all accounts; no action is required.
