Additional Advertiser Categories Included in Advertisers

What is it? The following categories are now included in Advertiser Categories when creating or editing an advertiser:

  • Banks
  • Civic Organizations
  • Hospitals
  • Banks
  • Physicians/Physician Services
  • Concerts
  • Conference/Events/Seminars
  • Employment Agencies

The expanded taxonomy of advertiser categories enables better classification and improves delivery across SSPs.

Where is it? Advertiser categories can be set through the UI or API. To view all advertiser categories in the UI, navigate to Advertisers > Edit Advertiser > General > Advertiser Category, where all available categories are listed in the dropdown.

Do I need to do anything? This feature is automatically available for all accounts; no action is required. 


CTV Inventory Supported For DoubleVerify Authentic Brand Suitability

(ABS)

What is it? DoubleVerify's Authentic Brand Suitability (ABS) pre-bid segments are now compatible with CTV inventory. ABS pre-bid segment is now available for segments can now be used to access high-quality, vetted OTT and CTV inventory. 

Where is it? All Customers that have DoubleVerify ABS segments can be viewed view them in line item targeting within the Segments tab.

Do I need to do anything? This feature is automatically available for all accounts; Your existing ABS segments are automatically compatible with CTV inventory; no action is required. For customers interested in activating ABS or other DoubleVerify segments, reach out to your account representative for more details.

Unique Seat IDs Provided for All Customers and Accounts

What is it? All Buyer Cloud customers now have one or more unique seat IDs, which can by passed by SSPs in bid requests. These new seat IDs are persistent across all SSPs.

There are two types of seat IDs:

Use the Customer Seat ID when all accounts under

the same customer are eligible to bid on a deal.

Account Seat

Customers with more than one account also receive a unique Account Seat ID per account.

Customer with only one account only receive a Customer Seat ID.

Use the Account Seat ID when only a specific account is eligible to bid on a deal.

Previously, seat IDs were provisioned to customers upon request. These legacy seat IDs were SSP-specific, making it more challenging for publishers to set up deals with Buyer Cloud customers. 

Additional impacts of the new seat ID taxonomy include the following:

 seat management challenging because customers had to manage different seat IDs per SSP.

With the new unique seat ID taxonomy, you can now also view deal floor prices through the Deal ID w Bid Floor field. This field is available on:

  • The Metamarkets > Bids & Win dashboard.
  • The Metamarkets > Auctions dashboard, for customers with a custom deployment only.
  • Deal floor prices are now included in the Metamarkets dashboard.
  • Only your eligible bid requests and deals are included in reporting and logs, which provides more insights into traffic discrepancies and bid optimization

Where is it? To view the your new seat ID for your account, go (s), do one of the following:

  • Go to the Admin
module > Accounts > select
  •  > Accounts pageand select an account. The new Customer Seat ID and Account Seat ID
section will be
  • (if applicable) sections are in the Overview tab.

When is it available? On February 10th, all customers will receive their unique seat IDs. These seat IDs can be used right away to create deals with FreeWheel but not third-party SSPs. On February 24th, the unique seat IDs will be rolled out to all SSPs and clients can set up deals with any SSP using their new seat IDs.

  • In the top navigation ribbon, hover over the Admin module, then Seat IDs. The new Customer Seat ID and Account Seat ID (if applicable) sections are displayed.

Do I need to do anything? No immediate action is required. However, we recommend using your new seat IDs(s) when creating new deals:

  • Starting February 10th, 2026: Use your new seat ID(s) only when creating deals with FreeWheel.
  • Starting February 24th, 2026: Use your new seat ID(s) when creating deals with any other SSP.
