Beeswax enables users to create custom dashboards utilizing the functionality of Report Builder. This feature provides a robust visualization tool to monitor the performance and delivery of campaigns from a single central location. Custom permissioning allows these dashboards to be shared directly with read-only users with specific roles, such as clients or partners.

Additionally, Beeswax includes standard dashboards that offer a summary of account activity.

Dashboard Features

Creating a Dashboard

Dashboards can be created in Report Builder using the 'Save to Dashboard' option found in the Report Builder settings. By default, these dashboards will be visible only to the creator.

Users can choose to either create a “New Dashboard” or add new tiles/visualizations to an existing dashboard.

Making Dashboards Viewable by Others

To share a dashboard with other users in your Buzz Key, contact Beeswax Support and provide the name of the dashboard.

Only the original creator of a dashboard has the ability to add new tiles to that dashboard.

Dashboard Permissions

Dashboard permissions are managed through Beeswax Roles. When a new dashboard is added to your Buzz Key’s list of available dashboards, it will appear as an option within Role Permissions.

Roles can be used to control which users have access to specific dashboards. If access to certain measures in reports is restricted using Reporting Field Groups, these restrictions will also apply to the dashboard. For example, if a role is restricted from viewing the "revenue" measure, this measure will be hidden in the dashboard if the role has access to it. This may affect how dashboards are displayed or cause errors.

Example Use Case for Dashboards

For an automotive client with a separate account on your Buzz Key, follow these steps to keep them informed about their campaign performance:

  1. Create custom tiles in Report Builder using their Campaign IDs as filters and add these tiles to a custom dashboard.

  2. Provide the dashboard name to Beeswax Support, who will then add it to your list of available dashboards and optionally restrict it to only the client’s account.

  3. Create a new role specifically for the client. Set permissions so that only the new dashboard is accessible by this role.

  4. Create a new user for the client and assign the new role to this user.

The client dashboard will then be able to access their dashboard now be accessible via the dropdown menu after logging into their the specific account in Beeswax.
