Advertiser View Unit Calendar Bars Display Cost Per Billing Period

What is it? The Unit Calendar bars on the Advertiser View page (and its exported version) now display cost per billing period/month.

Previously, these Unit Calendar bars displayed units and cost or units per billing period, on the Advertiser View page and its exported version, respectively.

Where is it? This change affects the Advertiser View page and its Excel sheet export, located on the Schedule tab.

Do I need to do anything? No — this change is automatically applied to all OneStrata enterprises.

Search Schedule Grid Dropdown Fields By Secondary Label Text

What is it? Dropdown fields on the Schedule grid can be searched by secondary label text, if any. Previously, such fields could only be searched by primary label text.

For example, the Format field is a dropdown list that contains advertising formats such as the ones below, where bolded text is the primary label and italic text is the secondary label:

  • Square Display • 250x250
  • Medium Rectangle Display • 300x250
  • Pre-Roll :15 Video • 15
  • Mid-Roll :30 Video • 30

When the Format field is active, formats can be searched by primary label text like "Square" or "Roll", or by secondary label text like "250" or "Video".

Where is it? This new feature affects the Schedule grid, located on the Schedule tab.

Do I need to do anything? No — this new feature is automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.

External Integrations

New DSP Integration with The Trade Desk

What is it? The Trade Desk is now available as an external DSP integration, streamlining the campaign management process across OneStrata and The Trade Desk:

Enterprises that have added The Trade Desk as an external DSP can do the following:

For more information, see About DSP Integrations.

Where is it? This new feature affects the DSP dashboard, located on the External Integrations tab.

Do I need to do anything? Before Cost Lines can be linked to campaigns in The Trade Desk, the external integration between OneStrata and The Trade Desk must be manually added. For more information, see Create an External Integration.

Finance Module

Estimates

Add SBMS Estimate Group to Estimates

What is it? Estimates have a new, optional, SBMS-related field called Estimate Group:

For enterprises connected to SBMS, when an estimate is exported, the value of the Estimate Group field is also sent to SBMS:

  • If an SBMS estimate group with the same name as the Estimate Group value exists, the estimate is added to that estimate group.

  • If no such estimate group exists, a new SBMS estimate group is created. Its name is the same as the Estimate Group value.

Where is it? This new field affects the following areas:

  • New estimates created during campaign creation or on the Finance > Estimates page.
  • Existing estimates managed on the Finance > Estimates page.

How am I affected? For enterprises not connected to SBMS, the Estimate Group field has no effect on estimate exports to the external media finance system.

Do I need to do anything? No — this field is automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.

Send Estimate-Level Custom Fields to SBMS

What is it? The backend logic for estimate exports to SBMS was updated:

  • Now, for enterprises connected to SBMS, when an estimate is exported, any estimate-level custom fields with the Send to Finance option enabled are also sent to SBMS.

    • If an SBMS agency-defined field with the same name as the OneStrata custom field exists, the custom field value is added to the SBMS field.

    • If no such field exists, a new agency-defined field is created in SBMS. Its name is the same as the OneStrata custom field name and its value is the same as the custom field value.

  • Previously, custom fields were not sent to SBMS.

Where is it? This new field affects the following areas:

  • New estimates created during campaign creation or on the Finance > Estimates page.
  • Existing estimates managed on the Finance > Estimates page.
  • Estimate-level custom fields with the Send to Finance option enabled. Custom fields are managed on the Administration > Custom Field Manager page.

How am I affected? For enterprises not connected to SBMS, estimate-level custom fields with the Send to Finance option enabled have no effect on estimate exports to the external media finance system.

Do I need to do anything? No — this new feature is automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.

Updated Estimate Approval Request Emails

What is it? Estimate approval request emails have been updated, making it easier for estimate approvers to identify and manage their approval requests.

Email SectionUpdates
Title

Now includes:

  • The ID of the estimate.
Body

Now includes:

  • The external ID, budget, and media type of the estimate.
  • The Agency, Business Unit, Client, and Product entities associated with the estimate.

Where is it? This change affects the automated emails sent to estimate approvers (users with the Finance > Estimates > Approve / Decline permission) when:

  • The estimate approval workflow is enabled (through the Administration > Application Settings page); and
  • An estimate approval request is sent to an approver or an estimate with an approver is updated.

Do I need to do anything? No – this change is automatically applied to all OneStrata enterprises.

View Estimate Approval Details in the Estimates Grid

What is it? The Estimates grid has three new approval-related columns:

Column NameDescription
Approval Status

The approval status of the estimate:

  • Approval Required: No request to approve the estimate has been sent.
  • Pending Approval: A request to approve the estimate was sent to an approver. The approval request has not yet been accepted or rejected.
  • Approved: The estimate is currently approved (the most recent approval request was accepted).
  • Declined: The estimate is currently declined (the most recent approval request was rejected).
Approver

The first and last name of the user who last approved the estimate.

If the estimate has not been approved, this value is blank.

Approval Date

The date that the estimate was last approved.

If the estimate has not been approved, this value is blank.

Where is it? These new columns are part of the Estimates grid, located on the Finance > Estimates page.

How am I affected? For enterprises that use the estimate approval workflow, these new columns can be used to filter and sort the Estimate grid, making it easier to manage estimates.

For enterprises that do not use the enterprise approval workflow, the value of the Approval Status column is always Approval Required and the values of the Approver and Approval Date columns are always blank.

Do I need to do anything? No — these new columns are automatically available for all OneStrata enterprises.

Administration Module

Data Fields and Templates

Negative Values in Custom Data Fields Remain Negative When Exported

What is it? The backend logic for exporting custom data fields was updated:

  • Now, when custom data fields with negative values are exported, the negative values are exported successfully and remain negative.
  • Previously, exporting a custom data field with a negative value would cause an internal error and/or the negative value would be exported as a positive value.

Where is it? This change affects the following areas:

  • The Advertiser View page and its exported version.
  • The Ad Server grid and its exported version.
  • The Schedule grid and its exported version.
  • The Order Details page and its exported version.

Do I need to do anything? Depends on whether the campaign that contains the custom data field was created before or after the release of OneStrata version 25.1.14 (January 29, 2025):

  • Existing campaigns created before the release of 25.1.14: Custom data fields with negative values will not be exported properly until the following actions are taken:
    1. Remove the custom data field from the appropriate template (the Advertiser View template, External Integrations template, Media Schedule template, or Order Details template).
    2. Save the template.
    3. Re-add the custom data field to the template.
    4. Save the template again.
  • New campaigns created after the release of 25.1.14: No action is required — the backend logic update is automatically applied to all new campaigns.
